10. How would your character describe their gender? (Even if they're cis--let them describe how gender feels to them in any way they like)

anne often felt degendered when she was younger, due to being made inorganically and not being what a lot of people would consider a "normal" woman, being an anatomical model made of plastic and vinyl. being a woman is comfortable to her

mary wonders sometimes if her gender and those of her "donor bodies" were consistent, just as a matter of curiosity. she feels a bit confused about how parts of herself are still not completely clear to her, and yet she's still sure that she's a woman, but it feels nice that she does know

my entry for the plus dolls design contest! this is my dear reanimated lady oc, mary stein salerosa. sweet, idealistic, and able to deadlift a jaw-dropping amount of weight, mary works with the mad scientists who made her to help others like her figure out who they are.

7 (frankenstein's monster): ed and mary are exquisite ex-corpses who've made some exquisite corpse drawings with their friends!

8 (vampire(?)): professor roscoe proboscis drinks blood and is an expert on the supernatural. although he can't turn into a bat, it doesn't make him any less vampiric!

9 (polka dot ghosts): oh my! these two both decided to make a fashion statement! what now?

10 (witch in the sky): I just really wanted to draw a "hocus", as coined by bogleech

11 (mysterious skeleton): could this REALLY have evolved long ago, or is it an elaborate hoax?

12 (lost werewolf): "don't be embarassed, reading a bus schedule can be a challenge even if you aren't a wolf!"

13 (the cat): take your pick! we... think they're cats, anyway.

some random reanimation rules thoughts… I think that ed might casually talk down about herself without meaning to. like he’s hanging out with mary and makes an offhand comment about “I know I’m not much to look at, but-” and then mary looks at her with the biggest saddest eyes you’ve ever seen and is like Why Would You Say That because to her ed is the most charming and lovely person in the world

(and because ed feels the same way about her, maybe he can start seeing himself in that way too someday)

presenting the wonderful and lovely mary stein salerosa! mary was created by the brilliant team of ms corkscrew and anne atomic, and is enjoying finding out more about herself and the world at large. she's quick to learn, abnormally strong, and rather idealistic. her best friend is a fellow experiment, ed fang. mary has no memories of her life before death and undeath, and she wonders about who she used to be sometimes.
