"The day I could no longer walk with ease" - Mary Spain
I watched this video of a pilot landing a plane, buttering the surface. He promised a mother that his landing would be so smooth it wouldn't wake her baby. I think adolescence is made up of these acts of kindness derived from parents to their child. The buttering of maturing, so smooth to the point where you don't realize you've become an adult.
