THE PULL: Mary Fellowes' Spring Selects | Polymath and creative director Mary Fellowes wears many hats—fashion editor, celebrity stylist, brand consultant, and features writer, among others. British born and raised and now New York based, the fashion maverick has mainly a Vogue pedigree (thirteen editions and counting, including the launch of an international edition). Fashion captured her by surprise while studying at London's eponymous Central Saint Martins, which led to her first role in the business with Isabella Blow, the iconic stylist who became her mentor. From there, she sailed through the doors of British Vogue and contributed stories to multiple international Vogue editions. She was later appointed Fashion Editor at highbrow European weekly, The Economist, before spearheading the launch of Vogue Turkey. Mary has lent her creative hand to A-listers such as Amy Adams, Liv Tyler, Paris Hilton, and Taylor Schilling, plus the British music sensation Goldfrapp. Since her arrival to America several years ago, she continues to work as an in-demand freelancer for high-end editorial, advertising, and celebrity styling. We caught up with Mary to chat about spring must-haves. She let us in on what she'll be donning when the weather warms up, whether she'll be running up and down the mad streets of Manhattan or relaxing on a holiday in the Hamptons.
