Same rule applies - please don't trade with this audio or worse, attempt to sell it. I have a weird rule against benefiting from an audio in material terms. I hate when this happens over email, too. Yes I got your email. Yes, so did everyone else. No, we’re not going to do anything with it. No, sending it multiple times in the span of a week won’t help your case.
I have some saucy little journos on Tumblr today! You're both right, though...if we wanted to run a PR piece, we would! Sending it five times won't help. And please don't get mad at us, PR people, when we change the wording. We can't help it if you don't know AP or local style.
