Now that Otto was home, he’d spent the morning putting food in his apartment and getting other stuff like that done. Though he hadn’t been quiet during any of this (which to be honest, he couldn’t pull off if he tried), his neighbors hadn’t opened their door to see him. Which was fine, but Otto had brought a few things back from France, one of which happened to be some lemony dessert thing that had reminded him of Mary. With a small cardboard box in hand he walked out and towards their door, though he stopped halfway. He could leave it outside, he could knock... or he could just go back and wait for her to figure out he wasn’t out of the country anymore. He was really torn about his options and which would be best, when he heard the doorknob turn. He was too far away from his own door to make it without running, so he just froze in place. Totally cool, right? “Oh Hey...”
