What their shadow self look like + how they behave

He looks like Mishima, just dressed more nicely, with his suspenders on properly and phone in hand, he isn’t dressed in his uniform. A dress shirt and pants, and a yellow bowtie. No blue skin or anything especially funky, he’d actually be easily mistaken, if not for his flowing confidence and venomous words.

He’s unstable, as if there is a constant war that leaves him ticking from wanting his fame, and feeling guilty and scared when the real Phantom Thieves are there. It’s less about wanting them dead, and more like wanting them just away from him, because he doesn’t want THEM to see him like this. Then again, this is a shifting thing, where he can just as easily swing the other way if the wrong buttons are pushed. In a way, dialogue chosen would HEAVILY influence which side you see the most when you do interact with Mishima.

By being kind to him, expressing that you know this isn’t who he is, and by offering him HELP, you won’t even have to fight Shadow Mishima himself. You can talk him down, and get him to give in willingly. However, if you had been cruel the whole time, he is not going to believe your kindness is true now, and you WILL enter a very dangerous boss fight. Mishima becomes somewhat of a pupeteer, commanding various versions of previous palace owners and fake phantom thieves to fight, setting the stage, making the rules.

Shadow bois

Makoto’s shadow is kind of....Pathetic. She’s a damsel in distress and her shadow looks more like her sister than herself except the outfit would reflect someone who is a CEO of sorts. She’s very meek and mumbles to others. I like to think Mako would’ve asked the others to steal her treasure but, if it’s under normal circumstances her shadow only gets violent when it is stolen.
