Every color here is either one of 5 solid colors from Quilted Comforts, or is one of those colors with a less opacity. I did not use any new colors in this, and I am SUPER happy with how it came out!

Also TECHNICALLY teaser for new PEAK OC but i dont plan to do anything more with them for a good, long while

I got creative because none of the colors are really accurate except the white of the snow, but it was a fun challenge.

Me when Im trying to steal from an artist with newly gained superpowers having the biggest crashout of the millennium and the physical manifestation of confusion bursts out of the fridge and starts telling me 'the paint is a lie'. Like bro, I did not sign up for this. If you want to kill each other that much you can do it yourselves.

JK I love the Freds and Wriggly Fred is such a goofy character I love him. But I do feel for Sam when he opens the fridge because 'a portrait is in there' that he has to kill for this random guy for some reason and he gets tackled by a being made of paint twice his size. The only reason 'Fridge Fred' could fit in the fridge is because of the lack of bones and thus octopus-level flexibility and probably emptying it out beforehand.

Oh and I practiced some lineless art. I made the sketch and was like 'yeah, this deserves better' and made it lineless. Wriggly Fred's wrinkles and paint drips were hard tho but it was worth it.

Look Outside short comic featuring Sam and the Sapper!

I've got more comics on the flaming stove rn and I may post those in a few months too. I'm sketching them and I think they're SO much better than this one, but also longer so they'll be harder to actually finish.

Posing the Sapper's ten limbs was challenging but also fun. I had to get that fullbody of them in there it was like a legal requirement.

I gave all the creatures in the warzone their own skin patterns. This helps show they're corrupted instead of blue-skinned like Papineau.

Sam PLEASE stop giving the soldiers in the warzone existential crises they have a job they think they need to do.

JUST HOW MANY MORE YEARS ARE YOU WILLING TO LET THEM LIVE BEFORE YOU TELL THEM THE TRUTH OF WHAT THEY ARE LIVING THROUGH?

Memorial knows who they are. Who they were. What they lost. Do the others? Minesweeper mentions a wife, but does she know who she used to be? Sapper doesn't know why he's here, really, but he's got a job to do so he's going to do it. Scout doesn't think anything is off, can't even entertain the idea that maybe he lived and worked elsewhere once before.

These are their lives now. Stuck in a war fighting against an invisible enemy. And who is Memorial to try to ruin it by giving them the truth?

This piece KINDA strays away from canon and more into headcanon where Memorial is the only one that can completely remember everything, but its still a cool piece so I'm throwing it into the void of tumblr anyways
