I’m tired of seeing people who actually know how to cook on these cooking shows. I want to see Gordon Ramsay on the verge of tears as he is served the most horrific meals he has ever seen. I want them to drag college students who only know how to make instant ramen onto the show and have them compete against each other for like a grand prize or something. I want to watch the judges slowly loose their will to live as time goes on. The light in their eyes slowly dying as they have to choose just one person to eliminate. I want to watch people ruin food for the chefs. And who knows? Maybe there actually will be people who will thrive and start to excel at cooking and find a passion they never knew they had. Also maybe we will be able to see a professional cook sobbing at the burnt monstrosity that was just set before them.
One time, I saw a tweet about 'master chief day' but I thought they were talking about masterchef the cooking show. I replied something like, "masterchef Junior is also cool because gordon Ramsay is so nice to the kids." I live with this shame constantly.
