Hello, brother.
The journey was made quick from the Starfury’s estate to Silvermoon. He had little time to waste in making his arrival known and thankfully, with his father’s help, he knew exactly where he was to be going.
The crackle in the air lingered as the static slowly softened around him after he stepped through the portal that led directly into the Spire. His muscles tightened and the small hairs upon his skin stood erect as he grasped the bottom of his vest and pulled it down in adjusting.
He sniffed, clearing his throat as he began to tread out of the Spire and into the city almost as if he were the Lord Regent himself. Mat’aeas walked with a since of pride, stubbornness perhaps, he would take a single glance at everyone he passed on the streets as he trekked to his desired location outside of the city and onward to Falconwing.
As the evening slowly passed, he sat in the darkest corner of the tavern they called The Smoking Crow. He observed each face, listened to the arguments, and of course, drank their whiskey slowly. His jade green eyes searched them and finally found the two he had been looking for.
To his advantage, one by one, the others left, leaving just a single woman and man as the bartender began to wipe the bar and put away the drinks. With swaying hips and an adorable little limp, the blonde haired woman took her leave but not before she had seemingly given the hunter a small token of her affection.
“Hm...” He hummed to himself, awaiting for the most opportune moment before making his presence known. The man known as, Eli’yon, took his steps toward the door before Mat’aeas cleared his throat to gather his attention. “Father didn’t mention she was such a lovely little bird.” He called over, grinning as Eli’yon turned to approach him.
“Hello, brother.” He greeted the man as he finally stood with his arms crossing over his chest.
