What makes Arthur Conan Doyle a member of team matcha?

Team matcha is a team with a balance of fresh and maturity, which doesn’t sound quite right when I first thought of putting Arthur in this team.
However, stay with me and we will get through this hurdle. His playboyness really struck me as a cliche in his route, I thought it would get brought up time and time again. To my surprise it didn’t reappear as often as I thought. Which reminded me of Toru Oikawa from Haikyuu, another playboy.
Both of them are major playboys who genuinely enjoy the whole aspect of it, but they are not bound by it. Arthur has a route that is not the cliche playboy act which led him to being a member of team matcha. In fact it feels as we learn more about Arthur the whole playboyness isn’t forgotten, rather it becomes a part of how his character behaves. Leading him to derive from the typical playboy we see in the many otome games whose characters are based upon that fact. Overall, it creates a much more refreshing feel to the character and deepens our interest as to what he has to offer.
When I read his stories, it feels as though he is searching for connections. These aren’t romantic or platonic, he just wants to feel another person’s warmth or feeling. This is unique to team matcha as they are searching for connection. Hence, the reason as to why Arthur is a character, we see often paired up with another.
Once Arthur has found someone to be reliable and comfortable to be around, he will latch himself onto them. This isn’t like a leech onto a human, rather he knows he has someone to rely on and is much more lax. We see this with Theodorous as Arthur hops from place to place with him by his side.
Like other team matcha members Arthur has a more friendly character design that makes him easy to approach. This even has the objective to make him more appealing if you’re in need of help. For instance, based on looks alone one might ask the friendly looking Arthur over the stern looking Mozart.
If you love Arthur, then I highly recommend you check out Toru Oikawa in the anime/manga Haikyuu. I know it’s not very romantic as I typically recommended otome routes, but Oikawa is a very well written matcha character and I can't leave him out. Through Oikawa you see continuous growth and change towards his own future while he handles his struggles in volleyball.
