Genlong : Quickest fold in the history of ice queen type of character, who didn't even manage to get annoyed at Aoey for a single second after literally just glancing at her

Gen was already in love with Aoey back in school and she is not the one who wanted to stop being her friend but someone forced her to because Aoey was not an ''appropriate'' friend for a girl like Gen which would explain why she's already so obviously in love with her, taking care of her, worrying for her and desperately wanting to keep her close. She simply never stopped being in love with her.

This is the first damn episode of the series. Also, I find it interesting that when they do this runaround on the escalators, when they finally do meet up, it's Genlong bringing herself down to Aoey's level on the lower floor. I'm sure there's a metaphor in here somewhere.

Anyway, decided to rewatch because when this aired I was going through some medical stuff. And having watched many more GL series at this point, I feel like my opinions might be different. One thing I noticed off the bat this time around, is that this show introduces itself almost as a comedy in the first episode (with the fortune teller, and Gen's "date"), however the theme and subject material of the series is quite heavy and probably not well suited to a comedy.

This first episode basically alternates between Genlong being mean, Aoey having PTSD, and Genlong gay panicking.
