Doing schoolwork tip

Ok, so here’s a tip for my fellows with ADHD:

I’ve been trying to do this math quiz thing since late April, but I couldn’t get it started. It has, like, 30 questions. I kept telling myself that I was going to get it done, but I never did. 

On Sunday I said to myself “You know what? I’m going to do a few questions.” No specific number, just “a few”. So far I’ve done 16 questions today and yesterday, and I’m pretty proud of myself.

So, the tip is, don’t say “I’m going to get all of this done right now”, say “I’m going to get a bit done now, do something else, and then do a bit more later”. It’s surprisingly helpful to do schoolwork in chunks.

Math

Math is what I imagine hell to be like.

I'm taking college algebra and I have no idea what's going on half the time,

I try to get help, but apparently it's my fault I dont understand the material?

I'm annoyed that half the time I have to find someone else to explain the things that I should be learning in this class.

Any suggestions for math help?
