My beautiful place of education: Stellenbosch university. I am so grateful and happy that I got into my first choice university, because it’s so beautiful and I love the atmosphere. This is also the town I grew up in as a kid. There are mountains, vineyards, farms and trees everywhere, but it’s only a 20 minute drive to the beach and a 30 minute drive to the city of Cape Town. The campus is diverse, and there are 2 languages offered for tuition: English and Afrikaans (a South African language similar to Dutch), I take my classes in English, although I can fluently speak Afrikaans, I went to an English school. Just a 2 minute walk from campus, there is a mall, boutiques, and more restaurants and coffee shops than you could imagine, many of them offering student discounts which is amazing!
