1) Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping #5? I was never really into Ren to begin with to be honest, but the revelation you play where you need to choose his ending hit me hard-- Purposely trying to get his bad ending for the first time was honestly heartbreaking-- how you have to purposely get all the basic questions of care wrong.. Nope.. Cannot deal. He broke my heart and I ended up loving him so----

2) Have you ever read fanfiction about #2? I haven't actually, I haven't read fics in a while. 3) Has a picture of #4 been your background/Tumblr icon? Koujaku is both my icon and my damn phone background... *In too Deep starts to play* 4) If #3 were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be? Jesus... No. No no no. I am still waiting for Satoshi to wake up and these two to be happy. No. No is my response.   5) Why is #1 so important? Kurogane and Fai were both used as pawns in a board game across the dimensions of space and time. They both lost the most important people to them and in their travels, they discover their importance to one another.   6) Is #4 a funny or serious ship? I ship them seriously, but they are a pair of dorks :3 7) Out of all your ships listed, which ones have the most chemistry? I tie for Renao and Kouao. I know I know, Ren's is the true route... But Koujaku was in love with Aoba since they were kids... That's something to me. 8) Of all the ships, which ship have the strongest bond? Renao... Sort of goes without explanation I think.  9) How many times have you read/watched #2’s fandom? Not a lot recently... I'm going to dive back in though. Previously, ... Jesus I don't know. Kyosaya consumed my blog at one stage. 10) Which ship lasted the longest? Kuro/Fai started in like 8th grade so that would be like.... shit 7 years! That's an old ship! Shion/Sataoshi would be a close second I think. 11) How many times, if ever, have #5 broken up? Never I say! The bad endings do not exist.. Shh! 12) If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make out alive? Kuro/Fai have the unfair advantage of them just going 'Nope, fuck this, let's teleport to a new dimension!' So they live.  Satoshi/Shion may last a while as they have the underground Erie lab, but I think since they are the only group lacking powers of some sort they would go eventually. Kyosaya is relatively safe I think. I'm not sure about Aoba and the other homo's though. I think they would put up a good fight but eventually fall.  13) Did #4 have to hide their relationship for any reason? Nehh. I mean, Aoba hid it from Tae for a little while but she wouldn't have gave a shit.  14) Is #5 still together? Forever. 15) Is #1 canon?  No... But I'm preparing many blood rituals involving goats to make it so.

16) If all 5 ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple do you think would win? Taking away Kuro/Fai's wildcard escape-- Gee... I'm still not sure. You know, I'm going to say Kyosaya. Just because of their magical girl abilities and I can see Kuro/Fai and Kouao bickering between themselves. Shion/Sataoshi are killed sadly- not because they're weak, just bcause again, they have no special abilities where all the others do. Renao, Online doesn't count here lovelies and I mean Scrap would be extremely useful, but I can see Kyosaya countering it. 17) Has anyone tried to sabotage #5’s relationship? I wouldn't call it 'sabotage', but dude... DMMD in a nutshell is Ren watching everyone take his man away from him. That's just sad. 18) Which ship(s) would you defend to death and beyond? All of them, obviously-- though I think I would be best at defending Kouao tbh. 19) Have you ever spent hours a day going through #3’s tumblr page? Is there an official shipping name for these pair because I damn well WISH I could! There is so little of these babies ; A ; 20) If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the 5 ships to break up forever, which ship would you sink? .... This is really hard....  God... I'm sorry Kurogane and Fai... I can't split up the others when I know what their outcomes are!

3. My favorite role was the villian in a children’s play called Revenge of the Space Pandas. My costume was a purple military coat and a cone-shaped moveable platform covered in a skirt to make me look 15ft tall.

Hey there, first off I wanna say good luck on the JLPT, I bet you nailed it ^^ Second though, I was wondering if you have any advice on studying Japanese effectively? I've been studying it for a really long time (school and uni), I'm even living in Japan rn, but I feel like I've just plateaued, its super frustrating D: Any advice would be wonderful, I really love all the translations you do for DMMD~ thank you!

Oh god I know that plateau feeling, I was there about a year ago and there really is nothing more frustrating than it.

What really helped me pull out of it was honestly this book and the approach it uses. Basically, the book presents written passages that have higher level vocab and grammar peppered throughout them. It then gives you a really good contextual explanation of the grammar and problem sets to test your skills.

What I would do is take the vocab and grammar concepts that I was unfamiliar with and put them into this spaced repetition software called Mnemosyne. I'd also write them down on those little flash cards on a metal ring that you can pick up in 100 yen shops. I kept myself to 30 words/concepts a day because ideally I wanted to review the physical cards three times a day and I didn't want my Mnemosyne backlog to get too huge. Once I'd get home in the evening, after reviewing the physical cards throughout the day, I'd go through whatever was in my Mnemosyne backlog and review those.

I'd say, all told if I was concentrating the process of making flashcards and going through Mnemosyne took me about 1-2 hours a night. But doing this, I saw a really significant improvement in my reading ability. I was able to pick up on more words, I could read more quickly, and I could start to guess at the meaning of unfamiliar words based on their kanji.

Another set of books I'd recommend for trying this with are the Kanji in Context series. They use shorter sentences, but follow along the same premise of introducing words in their natural context so you learn how to use them. If you're in Japan, you should be able to find most of these books at a larger bookstore.
