A girl wakes up with missing memories and no clues except for the bounty on her head. In the wreckage of an unfamiliar world, her odds for survival aren't good. All that stands between her and death are her own determination and a grim mercenary called Shirou Emiya. Together they fight and survive -- until the day he decides to leave her behind.
Notes: Romance, rated T for violence and non-explicit sex. AU, but takes its cues from canon materials.
