I animated Mogens leaning a lot. I saw him as crooked but in this shot it also plays as him being playful while he ribs Jesper.
This was the very first production shot I animated of Mogens. His design was still being refined and I hadn’t totally locked in to the character yet but this was a start :) Really amazing to see peoples reactions to the film, it is wonderful to finally be apart of a film that seems to be impacting people. Also, I have been blown away by peoples affinity for this guy. My aim was to balance the snark and sarcasm with charm and like-ability.

Been busy... here is a WIP of Uncle Screwtape. I was thinking of a kid I knew growing up that looked like Scut Farkus. This kid had moist hands and ate mayonnaise and cheese sandwiches everyday.
Getting ready for Halloween. This is one of my first proper attempts at painting. Trying to tackle some things I have always been scared to try.
