so it begins sometime in 2002, where one night Andy Duncan is awoken by a bright red light shining into his room. He moves to the lounge and the next morning he complains about not sleeping well and the light. a few days later he gets a bad sore throat out of nowhere but he isnt sick. Then one night Dan gets woken up by a red light, but goes straight back to sleep. He talks about the red light the next day and the others want to know whats causing it. a few days later one of his eyes is irritated, and the same day his eye began to hurt was he same day when Andy Duncan woke up and found large shards of red glass sticking out of his neck. He gets taken to hospital and is operated on, barely surviving. Andy makes the connection between his sore throat and the glass, which Dan is worried about because of his eye suddenly hurting. Eventually glass grows out of his eye one morning, and he tries to remove it but when he manages to pull a shard out it all dissolves into nothing and his eye is left red and blind but there is no blood. He is convinced about what Andy said, and also makes a connection to the red light since his eye started hurting after he saw it. fastfoward to 2005 after Andy Duncan had left the band and Andy Ross just joined, where Tim sees the red light one night. He is convinced that the light links to the glass and is prepared for when it happens, about a week later he gets really bad stomach pains. At first he thinks it’s the curse but then believes it’s a virus. Of course it isn’t and one night while Tim and Damian were walking home, he suddenly collapses due to pain and realises that the glass is going to come out of his stomach. He tells Damian and he calls an ambulance, once at the hospital Tim gets stiches since there wasn’t a lot of glass and it was pretty small. Andy is shocked about what happened, but Tim lied to him about the glass because he didn’t want to freak him out and have him leave. After this, Damian begins to get paranoid and acts weird. Any form of red light scares him, and any random pain on his body causes him to panic. The other guys (except Andy) try to calm him down saying that it wont be that bad if he went to the hospital straight away and that he’s freaking Andy out. Damian manages to calm down but still thinks about when the curse is going to get him. In 2009 during the recording of OTBCOTS is when Damian finally sees the red light one night and becomes paranoid again. He tells Dan and Tim that hed seen the red light and will go straight to the hospital if anything starts hurting randomly. That’s when his hands begin to get sore and itchy, preventing him from playing, he wants to get his hands checked out but that’s when Andy sees the red light. He says he couldn’t sleep because of it, which eventually leads to the others telling him about the curse and that he should be careful. Damian goes to the hospital to get stitches since there were only small bits of glass sticking out. Andy is worried about what will happen to him, but Dan and Tim reassure him, saying that they hope the glass doesn’t come out somewhere deadly like it did to Andy Duncan. A year later, Damian wakes up one day to find that the glass is back in his hands despite not seeing the light since then. This time the glass is stronger and cant be removed or broken off. This is also around the time Andy starts acting negatively towards him. Over time Andy gets more and more aggressive, to the point where he gets violent. Tim thinks that they should get rid of him because of the way he’s been acting, and is very close to doing so until Dan points out that Andy has red eyes like his one which could have some sort of link to the curse. That night, everyone is woken up by the red light. They all go outside to see that the light had finally revealed itself to be a red glass orb just lying on the ground. Tim said that they should break the orb, strongly believing it will break the curse. The others agreed, especially Andy who was desperate to break the curse. So they all start bashing on the orb, which does absolutely nothing but Damian manages to break some of the glass on his hands off. This cracks the orb, so he continues to hit his hands against it. Soon enough the orb shatters and the remaining glass on Damian’s hands disappears instantly, Andy and Dan’s eyes turn back to normal and Andy is no longer aggressive and everything is back to normal yayyyyy.
