Please follow these instructions, or I probably won’t see it.
- REBLOG THIS NOTE. Not reply, not in your tags, but this actual note and write the following:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please take your time looking through these and pick which fits your OC the best, not just your favorite.
House Lannister: To be a Lannister is to know one deserves nobility. Ambitious and highly concerned with their legacy. Will stop at nothing to get what they want. Lannister’s are known to be clever, and calculating. Often taking advantage of their power of position. Although A Lannister comes off as prideful as a lion, the famous gold sigil has many cracks beneath it. A Lannister comes with extreme intelligence.
House Stark: Starks rarely turn to intrigue when confronted with a problem, preferring instead to face the problem head on. Honour is very important to House Stark, and their actions are governed by it — sometimes even past the point of wisdom. Their history of defending the Seven Kingdoms from the threats in the North has made them hard and practical. Starks tend to speak plainly and truthfully, although they know and use the courtesies of the court as needed. A Stark comes with Honor.
House Greyjoy: Greyjoy’s are, if possible, even more blunt and direct than the Starks. Existence on the islands is a meagre one; raiding the mainland is the only true hope for prosperity. Ironborn only own what they earn, even in the case of lords. The people of the Iron Islands are not the type to gladly bend their knees for sake of a title, but they pay proper respect to those who warrant it. Greyjoy’s are fierce and tactical warriors who never back down.
House Martell: The Martells are “salty” Dornishmen, a label applied by the Young Dragon, distinguishing them from “sandy” and “stony” kin. The blood of the Rhoynar runs thick in their veins, which may explain why the men are known for their hot tempers and the women are said to be wild and wanton. quick to anger, slow to forgive, and cruel for the sake of cruelty itself. Often very loyal.
House Targaryen: In their pride, the Targaryens placed themselves above the laws of the gods. They styled themselves the Kings of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lords of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protectors of the Realm. They wed brother to sister following the Valyrian tradition, which led to their unnatural beauty (silver hair, violet eyes), moments of genius, and bouts of madness. There are those who say the gods toss a coin every time a Targaryen is born — one side of the coin is greatness, and the other madness.
House Tyrell: The Tyrells place much stock in courteous speech and manners, but it does not necessarily extend to their actions. Many of them are ambitious, filled with pride and a desire to win ever-lasting fame. This thirst for glory can make members of the house appear to be arrogant, beholden to empty chivalry rather than true courtesy.
House Baratheon: Baratheon lords are a diverse lot, all using different tactics to achieve their goals. They understand the value of pageantry and direct action, but they do not eschew politics or intrigue when these are the right tools for the job. A Baratheon lord must be aware of all of the different factions competing for dominance and must be willing to stand his ground even when compromise seems the best option; any sign of weakness and the others may pounce. In times of great success, however, Baratheons can be prone to excess, forgetting their earlier acuity. Those who do forget rarely live long to regret it.Quick to join a fight, or stir trouble.
House Reed: Mud men. Bog devils. Those are just the most pleasant names their fellow Northerners have for House Reed, the crannogmen who live in the swamps of the Neck. Because they do not live in castles like them. Because they do not farm like them. Because they are not tall or rich like them. But through their veins flows the same blood of theFirst Men, and at times maybe something more. They beat their swords into frog-spears and fish-hooks, and settled a land forever devastated by the folly of war. The Reed’s are known to be reclusive, silent, EXTREMELY LOYAL, and HIGHLY OBSERVANT, some even possessing magical like qualities. They do not speak out, and keep their opinion to themselves. People often mistake their kindness as a weakness.
The Free Folk: A major difference between the Free Folk and the feudal society of the Seven Kingdoms is that they do not recognize a class of hereditary nobility in their society. They take great pride in their “free” status, and only follow leaders who they choose to lead them. A man keeps what he can take, and continues to hold what he can defend. A wildling marches to the beat of their own drum, stubborn, bull headed, doesn’t listen to anyone or take authority seriously. A wildling does what a wildling wants.

Those of you who did this last time are more than welcome to add a new OC! For those of you who get posters from me often, I ask you give me someone new :D
I will be closing this note if I get too many OCs, or If too much time has passed. Also apologies if I use a quote that’s already been used, or a theme too similar.
