Cardio and group pilates/yoga class at the gym this evening. Still can't get rid of this cough and it's driving me nuts. I feel generally ok, just a bit tired, so I assume the coughing is my body trying to get rid of crap from the virus I had. I did a quick shoulder session after dinner and I am ready for bed (who am I kidding? I was ready for a nap hours ago LOL) Hoping to get to the gym for an early upper body session in the morning xx

No cardio again today just a short 30min group session at the gym. Still feeling more fatigued than usual after being sick, I finally finished my antibiotics on Sunday so hoping my energy levels improve quickly. I am super excited to find a local provider of the body scans I have been getting done approx once a month and better yet my corporate fitness program means I get the scans 50% cheaper! I was able to get an appointment the day after the challenge ends so I won't have to do my own last minute measurements after all xx

Feeling mentally and physically drained today after two weeks of racing and not being well so no long run today. Decided to go back to running trails where I am happiest. Sometimes you have to do what makes your soul light up. A quick little hills and stairs session while the little chick rested at the lookout watching the storm roll in over the lake. At home leg workout this evening with squats, lunges and deadlifts with dumbbells and hamstring leg curls on the fitball. The hammy aggravation is slowly improving with a lighter running load and targeted strength training, happy days :) Still a little bit surprised we only have two weeks left of the challenge and despite feeling like rubbish I will be giving the challenge all I have until the end xx

What a day! Still on antibiotics for this sinus infection and woke up exhausted this morning. Unfortunately no sleep in as I had to drop my partner at work before my interview. I completed the assessment and answered all of the questions but not sure if I told them everything they wanted to hear LOL At the end of the day I still have a job so I am not too stressed, it is just a great opportunity to learn new skills and processes within the business. Short cardio session before the group class this evening, I love working out by myself as i usually do but it's nice to train with a group of like-minded people, the time goes so fast!

Group strength at the gym tonight. It felt so good to stretch these muscles out after not being in the gym for over a week while I was sick. Still on antibiotics for the sinus infection for another few days yet and still feel more tired and headachy. Feeling a bit nervous for my job interview in the morning. It's for an internal role and I was surprised to be offered an interview as it was advertised externally and took so long to hear any news. Trying not to stress about it as the worst they can do is say no and it's not like I haven't been told that before xx

Crappy virus got me like😷...started losing my voice on Sunday afternoon and it still hasn't come back properly yet. The cracking headache and cough are driving me insane! Not much you can do except stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. I booked my next follow up scan today for late October, it's the only date I could get close to the end of our challenge. Unfortunately I will have to do last minute weight and measurements myself when the challenge ends a week later but it can't be helped. At least the scan will show if the weight loss is muscle or body fat as my composition won't change too drastically in the final week xx
