i am going to be blunt here. you have to be able to defend "undesirable" traits even if they are in awful people. the world has taught you that it is okay to laugh at these things. it is good you are learning otherwise, but i am gently telling you that if you want to remove the stigma for certain physical or cognitive traits, it is going to have to apply to everyone. yes, even if the person is objectively terrible. yes, even if they are objectively making the world worse. it is hard. but it is an important step if you are committed to ideas of making your world better.
