I savor dark stories and tragedies

For their hurt dissipates after a while

Yet my own pain I despise a lot

Because the heaviness in my chest lingers

Is sadness meant to be felt alone?

On a silent night but then it's suddenly 3am

Would it be difficult to share?

I fear the wrong words will come out

But then why is my sadness not by itself?

It is accompanied by anger and hate

And sometimes emptiness joins the party

Bringing in fake smiles and white lies
