I absolutely love your headcanons and storys! I just wanted to tell you that i check your blog every day to see if you posted something. (Also did you delete the max as a dragon story, i liked it very much).
Keep up the good work, i hope you are doing well and i wish you all the best!<3
Honestly, I still find it hard to believe that anyone actually likes this. Thank you for those words — I actually got a little emotional💞. Sorry I haven't updated anything for so long😔
As for that draft — sometimes I delete stories when my anxiety wins. I'm afraid I sometimes don't find an outlet for those emotions. But I keep the translated versions, because I forget to delete them too.
So here it is
I remembered that a new season of House of the Dragon is coming out soon. And so I'm thinking.
Max as a dragon shifter — who spends almost all his time in dragon form, because his father didn't want him to be a shifter. He wanted him to be a rider. To compete. To fight.
This created a conflict, and Max left — only meeting Victoria and his mother at night.
Meanwhile, his potential partner (Charles, Dani — I'm not picturing anyone specific here — the important thing is Max). An experienced rider who can't find a suitable dragon. He needs one that's fast, strong, obedient. Usually, dragons only have some of these traits, and it frustrates him.
One day, he enters a cave where they essentially all live — and sees a frightened Max, pressing himself away from people.
To some extent, the rider feels sorry for him. If he's here, and he's already an adult, it means someone abandoned him, or he has problems. So the rider decides to take him — just for a brother or a beginner friend — while continuing his own search.
Max, clearly not expecting this, even considers shifting into human form — but then the guards would definitely recognize him and tell his father. So he endures and follows the rider.
The rider is shocked — because Max turns out to be quite large and beautiful. People start warning the rider that Max is extremely aggressive, etc. But the rider just strokes the frozen Max's face. In shock, Max stands still while, to gasps and murmurs, the rider calmly puts on all the gear and mounts him.
Max glances back — but the human isn't hurting him. So maybe he can obey. The rider takes Max home and gives him a new cave to live in, while examining him. He finds strange scars all over Max's body (Jos). He tries to make contact again — through food.
Max is suspicious, but he hasn't eaten properly in a long time. So fine — let him touch. He flinches when touched — but it doesn't hurt. It's almost pleasant.
Slowly, a bond forms between them. The rider realizes Max is his ideal dragon. Almost too ideal — he seems to understand speech and gestures, which is strange given they don't have a full bond.
Meanwhile, Max is falling in love. How do you say you're a shifter? A human?
Time passes. They start fighting in battles — very successfully. Until Max gets hurt. Badly — needing urgent care. The rider does everything he can — it helps. Max is unconscious.
And of course, by all the tropes, he shifts into human form right in front of the rider. For the rider, this explains a lot. But there's anger at the deception — until he looks closer at the body. The nature of the scars becomes clear — they're from human to human.
He's trying to figure out how to feel about this when Max wakes up. In his confused state, Max nuzzles under the rider's arm, not realizing he's in human form.
The rider feels pity. And affection. Then Max suddenly realizes — he feels the cold of the cave, which he shouldn't. Like a sad puppy, he pulls away and tries to shift back — aggravating his wounds.
But the rider tries to calm him — even though it doesn't help. Because now Max will be rejected. Now his beloved person will turn away from him.
Ferrari admin: we will always deliver for our Tifosi 😉
Tifosi: how about to stop fucking your top driver over? Or delivering a strategy that doesn't penaltise him, huh? We are still mad at you, don't use Charles to seduce us!
