yeah i feel you, i don't like the fact that these fanclubs exist or how they act either, don't particularly like seeing them in dramas - because as you said, there's never much growth and development. but yeah, i just wanted to say that i don't think it's particularly disrespectful towards women. but now that i think about it giving these "fangirls" some depth and development could positively influence some people who act similarly irl so i'm with you on that. tnx for answering & being kind :)
hiii my friend! yeah, i think it would be really interesting if the fanclubs we see served an actual purpose and those characters also have an arc (no matter how small) of growth and realisation, it would be nice to have some depth every now and then! but yeah, always, thank you for sending me the initial ask as well, this is a thought-provoking topic! :’)
