That brings me to another way humans interact with the sea, recreation. Perhaps my favorite is swimming, where humans move themselves through the water. There are many different ways to swim. Despite our relationship with the sea we still have much to learn about it, exploration is difficult due to pressure and depth. Unfortunately humans are often careless, especially for money, and our relationship with the sea is not always mutually beneficial.

Other than a food source, the sea is also a historic media for transportation. Humans travel over water in vehicles known as boats. Boats are less dense than the water they sit in, because they contain a large amount of air within them, so they float. Propulsion of these boats differs, sometimes they rely on the wind, using sails, sometimes they are moved with motors, and sometimes people move them themselves, with paddles. Boats are used in travel, to aid gathering food and for recreation.

The sea is a large body of salt water. It contains the majority of Earth's water. Salt water is not incredibly useful as drinking water, as taking the salt out of the water is difficult and humans cannot safely drink water with a high salinity, or salt content. The sea is good, in terms of human interaction, for many other things. Humans interact with the sea in many ways, and have done so for a very long time. The sea is used for food, fishing is an important food source for many communities.

Igneous rocks are, to be put simply, rocks that solidify from a liquid. This liquid is typically lava or magma, depending on if the rock is intrusive or extrusive. Metamorphic rocks are rocks that deform under extreme pressure and/or extreme temperatures. These rocks do not melt. Sedimentary rocks are when sediments are deposited and cement together. Each of these types of rocks can be transformed into another type through something known as the rock cycle.

When I was little I was very afraid of bees, but as I grew older I found out that they are very important and not so scary. Some of my favorite bees are Meliponines, or stingless bees. The mandaçaia bees are one of them, native to Brazil. They are very calm, create a lot of honey, and some people keep them as pets. They are also relatively large bees and can survive in somewhat cold temperatures (at least in comparison to other bees in the area).

Hello SKYLAR! I am a geology major, geology is the study of the Earth, its structure and make up, and it's history. I am most interested in Earth's history. The Earth is around 4.543 billion years old, that's a very long time in comparison to how long you and I have been here. The oldest stuff we have found so far are zircon crystals from Australia, which are about 4.375 billion years old. Our moon, made partly of the same basalts that form our oceanic crust, is about 4.53 years old.

As someone who strives for objectivity in my academic shitposting, I have to say that I am so sorry and I hope Pepe fans won’t find this a personal aspersion on their tastes, but I honestly cannot analyse Pepe because we all have our (ir)rational hate memes, and to me Pepe is the emotional equivalent of an itchy asshole. The rarest Pepe is one that doesn’t make me sad that I saw it.
