So you know how Slimes only spawn in swamps During the half-to-full moon phases, right?

Legends say that those attacked by slimes when the moon is at its peak are doomed to transform into half-human, half-slime, sluglike beasts when the moon has raised once more. They prey on everything, trapping any creature that dares approach it in a sticky heap of goo sprayed from its mouth, and devour the prey whole with nothing to be found.
They’re often blamed for disappearances in swamp towns, and although many claim to have seen the monster, or have someone they know transform in front of their very eyes, real proof of the wereslime has yet to surface.
