Today’s been wonderful but man I’m exhusted. Me and Ashlyn are watching goofy YouTube videos but I’m real tired. Eating crackers I took from the thesis show. Very excited to go to bed. I slept okay last night and we woke up around 8. Ashlyn made us eggs and potatos while I got ready. We had a nice breakfast. And around 930 I headed out.I walked over to family dollar and returned those headphones. Perfect. Then up to mcad to meet with Don. And man it was so good to see him. We went to spy house and had drinks and caught up. He said he is really proud of me. And that made me feel really great. We hung out for like an hour and then walked back to the school. Don tried to give me a 3d printer. Which one how am I going to bring that home?? And B Don you can’t give me a printer. Rediculous man. He did tell me that someone was installing over in the sculpture garden and discovered my buried installation and freaked out. So that was hilarious. I went and checked on that and it looked real good. I’m so glad I got to spend some time with him. He’s such a good person and had always been so supportive. I’m going to try to come out here to visit like twice a year and make sure I can keep in touch with him. He is good egg. I headed back towards Ashlyn’s house. First I stopped at glamdolls for a snack. Got a donut and some milk. And then back to Ashlyn’s. When I got back here Ashlyn kept working and I listened to my podcasts and eventually fell asleep. I woke up at 2 and we got ready to go out and meet Kia. We stopped at a few stores in the area while we waited for Kia to get over to meet us at milkjam. And then she was there!! It was so good to see her. We all got fun ice creams and talked about skating and anime and it was just really good. I also really hope all my friends become friends. Kia went home and me and Ashlyn went next store to get a meal. We got rice and falafel and some other snacks. It was fun. We had a few hours to waste until the thesis show. And we decided to go feed her cat and then go to the walker sculpture garden. We bundled up a little more and drove over there. I specifically wanted to see the Turrel that’s installed there. It’s similar to the meeting place at PS1 so it was really nice to go see it. We spent a bunch of time in there. Brendan was texting me and we had some good communication about what I need from him since we can’t see each other in person right now. So I’m really glad we could have some open back and forth about feelings. Which you know I appreciate. We had a ton of fun in the rest of the park. Seeing all the work. Taking pictures. Ashlyn is so great. I’m lucky to have her. We headed up to mcad next. Or the mfa building. And I had the best time!! I got so many hugs!! And since I hadn’t told anyone I was coming it was super fun to see people’s eyes go big when they realized I was there. The work was also really really great. And it was a really fun time catching up with people. And I met people! Got to tell lots about me and Jess"s project. I tried to set Ashlyn up with my friend Reza. Rez thought Ashlyn was just the prettiest thing and I was like. Yes! Love connection!!! So that was fun. And then her ex showed up and it was a good in for Rez to go play savior. Very cute. Tom gave a speech and got teary because he is retiring from being director. And he gave me a hug and kissed me on the head and was very sweet. I also got to catch up with Jay, the school president, and share my project and he’s so excited about it. Awesome. I actually did a really good time sharing the project all night and drumming up interest. We did some exploring and investigating about some more unknown art. And it was just a blast. We got invited to go get drinks and go dancing. But we were both to beat. So we’re home now. Eating snacks. Watching monster factory. And going to sleep. Tomorrow I’m leaving! We’re going to the zoo in the morning and then Niki is coming to get me and were going to get a meal and she’ll take me to the airport. This has been such a good trip. I’m feeling really happy. Tired but in a good way. I hope you all sleep well tonight. Sleep well everyone. Goodnight.
