Reading “The Sun and Her Star” by Dylan Allen. Happy belated birthday. Continuing my sampling of black owned wineries, I stayed with the McBride Sisters but instead I went for a Sauvignon Blanc. It’s was more pricey than I normally pay but I want to experience it and I did! I would say that if you like a crisp and dry wine, this one is for you. I prefer sweetness and this one wasn’t sweet so it won’t be a staple for me. I will buy it again for my in person bookclub though. I’m learning Y’all! Well! This was certainly a weird year, especially for my page. I started out mainly focused on makeup...and then I barely bought any this year. Nonetheless, I found myself rediscovering an appreciation for my OG brands and still finding new ones, and new ways to support Black-owned.
