Today a customer handed me a 20 dollar bill with a little clump of Marijuana stuck to it and I was laughing so hard I could barely keep my composure

SO TODAY AT MCDANKS We, for some reason, could not use the computers Therefore We had to take orders. At the window. With a pen and paper. Getting prices from the menu. And adding on tax manually. And adding it all together. And running the paper out to grill. And let me tell you. It may not be hard to do that for a math problem in theory. But. When you're trying to keep a line moving. news flash to the daytime managers:

i am not capable of doing an entire crew’s 8 hours worth of work in addition to my own in 8 hours, especially if nothing got done before i walked in the door. (i am somewhat willing to forgive this, as there was an ac/dc concert last night and i’m pretty sure people are travelling for labour day right now?) crazy as it sounds, i am one person. there is only so much i can do and if i lost 3 hours because i was busy serving customers well you’ll just have to deal with what i did manage to get done.

showing up at 4:30 am on a friday morning and screeching over this when i only got to start fixing things around 3 and then had to go on break again will only make me less willing to stick around and help you out since apparently 384374 crew in the morning is not enough to get stock up. in fact, it makes me decide not to stay. i could care less if the store manager is in at 7 am, you’ll survive. if she has something to say about how slaughtered i got last night i’ll tell her the same thing-- one person can not fix an entire crew’s worth of work and then do her own perfectly without issue all while serving a boatload of customers who won’t stop coming. and i can’t bug the manager/maintenance guy to help me the entire time either because they have their own stuff they need to do before they walk out the door, either.
