YES DUDE,, THE STRUGGLE! I like guys? wait, now I like a girl? am I gay?? AM I STRAIGHT?? It's especially hard when school or whatever only teaches you that there's straight and gay/lesbian? Like it makes you feel so small and vulnerable and so fucking invalid and niCk is too precious to go through that. ahhh I just wanted to crawl through the screen and hug him
okay but i always find girls are as interesting as boys (if not more than them lol) and i thought this is a normal thing? you see cute girls everyday and yeah, you’re attracted to them? but??? i only started questioning when i was 18/19 i guess? because i realised that i like like girls too? but boys are? beautiful too? (if they keep their mouth shut lol) but girls? and boys?? question marks?? (the answer is bisexual @ young me)
well for the education thing, they don’t really teach anything about lgbt (other than homophobic mindset such as it’s a sin :)) so yeah, i do feel invalid and vulnerable and i really wanna give nick a big bear hug, feed him hot chocolates, tuck him in bed and tell him that everything’s going to be alright and he is!! valid!!! my poor son :(
