You’re amazing just fyi
Thanks friend!! I’m just so over entitled opinions. “Ohh are you going to write more consistently now?” Type of comments make me bananas.

The Maternal Child Health Bureau (MCHB)
The Hemophilia Treatment Center of Nevada offers comprehensive medical and psychosocial services for children with inherited blood disorders. The center is one of over 140 hemophilia treatment centers (HTCs) nationwide that operate under comprehensive guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF), and the Maternal Child Health Bureau (MCHB). The Maternal Child Health Bureau (MCHB) operates as part of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), itself directed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. MCHB is dedicated to improving the health of mothers, children, and their families across economic lines. To this end, MCHB plays a critical role in overseeing programs that serve some 34 million women, infants, and children annually. MCHB funds sent to states as block grants in 2008 totaled about $550 million, much of it going to newborn screening tests, immunizations, and services that increase family access to healthcare. MCHB also administers a variety of programs that look after children with special health care requirements, including sickle-cell anemia, autism, and hemophilia. In 2010, HRSA announced $4.8 million in MCHB grant support for diagnostic and treatment services serving people with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. Twelve distributed regional grants specifically support of HTCs throughout the country, including the Hemophilia Treatment Center of Nevada. The HRSA defines an HTC as having state-of-the art clinical research facilities, multi-disciplinary teams of health care specialists, and outreach and education programs. MCHB also plays a vital role in helping HTCs procure discount blood-disorder drugs through the Healthcare Systems Bureau’s Office of Pharmacy Affairs. Beyond primary medical care funding, MCHB operates the innovative Healthy Start Program, which provides mothers with comprehensive educational information on issues such as infant care and child development, as well as access to community new-family support activities and programs. MCHB is truly a wonderful government partner for the Hemophilia Treatment Center of Nevada to have, ensuring that area children continue to receive the highest levels of quality health care and psychosocial support.
