✨ what draws you towards your hyperfixation? what is interesting about it?
Kingdom Hearts wields disney nostalgia like a very powerful and effective weapon, the first game especially gets the formula just right without feeling like the corporation doesn’t have a death grip trying to squeeze out money of you and instead giving you a fun journey. I do really love the absolute nonsense kh just throws at you and expects you to just go with (and is honestly weighed down by trying to give an explanation for anything)
I like that while there is the secret endings that are hard to get otherwise the game doesn’t really punish you for taking beginner mode! (That is one of the reasons i dislike critical cut like, good for the people who like that but that is a huge chunk of additional content that i paid for that i cant play because i’m not going to spend hours mastering the games combat)
💕 tell us about one of your favorite characters and why you like them!
I love the journey that the games have given to Riku his character has grown soso much, he starts as one of the antagonists of the very first game and now he’s the most recent keyblade master and its just (chefs kiss) beautiful. He’s also just really charming when given his own chance to shine, he’s sweet and earnest even when he still has a bit of that cocky attitude that defines him in KH1 and definitely the reason I really loved Dream Drop Distance.
Just wish the same love was given to Kairi :-/
💎 are there any fun facts or trivia that you would like to share?
I said this on my blog a bit ago, but the KHX cutscenes included in 2.8 state that when the master/owner of a Dream Spirit falls into darkness their Spirit turns into a Nightmare
So when Sora falls into darkness in 3D the Nightmare that appears is most likely the darkest version of Riku possible. Which is kind of an obvious thing to say but I still think it’s very neat.
