I can't find the tumblr user who made 'My Cannibal Lover'... Do you know what happened to them? Or where I could download the game?
I just looked around and their blogs aren’t active anymore…. when did that happen?? D: I’m not sure if they deleted themselves or if they got deleted by Tumblr when things were all weird? But, neither acct is available anymore, and their icon doesn’t say (deactivated) when I hover over a post from them?
Does anyone know what happened to turtlewiggles??
I just reblogged a post that has Turtlewiggles’s (as underneathturtlesshell) original post about the game with PC and Mac download links but I can’t guarantee that the links still work, if TW took down their own blogs then they might’ve also closed the downloads…
Okay, since the story of this game doesn’t branch a lot and I tend to write everything out, I’m making this a part 2 pf Deaths 1, 2, 3. Originally this death was going to be in the same post but it just got SO LONG.... I didn’t want the guide to just keep going and going. So, make sure to read this post for the first half of the game. The choices I made in that guide were originally going to be attached to this ending as well. So read up to death 3 (and obviously save before choosing the path where you die) and then come here to continue the game! This post will still be long but at least it won’t be as long as if I had kept it all as one post.
(Read this guide to see all the choices leading up to your first night in the cabin)
Decide ‘I’d better stay put’ because you recall how noisy the cabin was as Jac was getting ready for bed... you really can’t take a chance that she’ll catch you... that thought is more terrifying than seeing ‘Gamma’ again. Besides, the monster is still out there and you aren’t ready to risk running into it again, not in the middle of the night. Finally, you fall asleep, trying to get some rest.
All too soon Jac is calling out good morning and waking you up... is it already morning? She asks how you slept but just stay quiet *...* instead of answering. Jac doesn’t seem to notice your lack of response, instead seeing the loose strap around your wrist! Then she says that it must’ve come loose from the last one, revealing without a doubt that she’s done this before. Not what you wanted to hear... But she turns away and starts bustling around the kitchen, taking out some pans and heating up a really nice deep fryer. Jac notices your look of appreciation and comments that one of her previous girlfriends was a manager at some chain restaurant that got her hooked on fried food. So she just had to have a fryer installed. Just how loaded is she? You don’t get around to asking though because now she’s back and checking the loose strap. There is apparently no time to get the strap fixed before some big meal, oh sorry, Big Meal TM, she comments that she’ll have to use a different method to stop you from leaving. You see her hold up a large knife. Oh no... She tells you to put your hand out. How bout no! Tell her “nope” and clench your fist. All she does is giggle, commenting that she figured you’d be nervous. She pulls out a specially made clamp and forces your hand into it with her superior strength. Now your fingers are forced out in the open. Jac makes a comment about bite force and carrots but you don’t really listen... You hear her whisper something about love bites and then she comments that you’d look really cute with a couple of stubs. She places the knife over your fingers and you struggle. Then she brings the knife down (chopping sound); there is blood and pain... you scream. Jac flinches and tells you that you screamed right in her ear... why are you being rude? She didn’t get a lot of sleep because she was arguing with Gamma and now she has a headache, so could you please not? Cry out, “You’re insane!!!” and she only comments back that you must not be a morning person.
Something tells you to not piss her off so when she cuts off your index finger, (timed event) hold it in and don’t scream (chopping sound). You clench your teeth and continue to struggle. Jac pinches your cheek and says that you’re being grumpy but doesn’t stop. She moves onto the next finger (chopping sound). (Timed event) hold it in again, don’t scream. Now that she’s onto your ring finger, she takes a moment to ask if you’re a traditional kind of person. Not that she waits for you to answer, she’s already cutting it off (chopping sound). (Timed event) hold it in one final time. She gathers up all your severed fingers and tosses them into a batter mixture before throwing them into the deep fryer... she’s seriously cooking your fingers... You watch as she goes over to the pan on the stove and vaguely wonder what that pan is for... Jac comments that you’ve made a mess and then presses the hot pan against your bleeding stumps. You can’t hold back this scream but she stuffs her cooking mitt into your mouth to muffle it. You try to breath, try to focus past the pain... but now she’s moving onto your other hand... (chopping sound). Again, when she’s done, she uses the hot pan to burn your stumps and stop the bleeding. Then she’s pulling out the first batch of fingers and throwing in the second batch... You hear the oil bubble as she puts them in. And she isn’t done yet. Now she’s taking off your socks and you try to beg and plead but the oven mitt is still in your mouth. Before she cuts off your toes, she jokes about piggies going to the market and then chop chop chop (chopping sounds). Then it’s your other foot, chop chop chop (multiple chopping sounds). You’re in pain and you struggle, not wanting her to go on but she says that she’s already almost done so obviously she has to finish it. Once she’s finished, she gathers up all of your toes and tosses them in the fryer after taking out your fingers. (Image of batter covered fingers and toes on a plate, ‘Recipe #1′). You watch in horror as Jac nibbles on your cooked flesh.... between that and the pain, you finally pass out.
When you come too, it’s morning and Jac isn’t around.Thank goodness! You’re in so much pain, the burned edges of your hands and feet are the worst..That and the phantom limbs... Time passes slowly for you, the pain is all you can really focus on. Jac finally makes an appearance in the afternoon. But she’s different, doesn’t make eye contact and does her best to avoid you. All she does is start a pot of coffee and ignore you, but you’re still ready for anything. It isn’t until she finally glances at you that you see she has brown eyes?! They were a weird green when you met her. Jac leaves the kitchen without saying anything. You hear her in the living room, watching TV... a Korean drama by the sounds of it. And she’s one of the people that talks to the TV so you can’t help but listen as she practically narrates the whole episode. When it’s over, she comes back into the kitchen and grabs some ice cream, tears running down her cheeks. Stay quiet because you don’t want to risk getting cut up. So far she’s leaving you alone and that’s preferable! You pass out again.
This time when you wake up, Jac has green eyes again and she was standing there watching you sleep. The thought of that gives you chills... She comments that you look cute when you’re sleeping and you really don’t like the look in her eyes. She doesn’t say anything else and starts preparing for another meal; probably dessert this time, judging by the cake pans you see her pull out. Jac comes over and comments that you’re sweet, soft, beautiful. She asks if you know what makes you that way, stay quiet *...* because that seems like a dangerous question... she does have cannibalistic tendencies after all. She doesn’t mind that you don’t answer, leaning in closer and whispering that it’s your blood. And she only wants a little bit. That... that doesn’t sound so bad... not like yesterday. You see her pull out a giant needle, tubing, and a blood bag. Before you can ask how she got that, she reveals that she dated a nurse in the past. And she adds on the unnecessary comment that he was her slow-cooked angel (which made him tender, get it?). You watch, not struggling as she pushes the needle into your arm. Both of you are quiet as your blood flows along the tube and into the bag. You start to daydream, thinking about Tara and Corbin along with other memories of your life. It makes you realize ‘I miss my friends’... you won’t go on any more camping trips with them... There are a lot of good memories with Tara and Corbin. You’re brought out of your thoughts when Jac pulls the needle out of your skin... Blood spurts out of your arm and onto the walls... she was using an artery and didn’t use any gauze after taking out the needle! And now she’s just standing there! You cry out for her to do something and she just glares at you... She feels like she’s the one putting in all the effort and you’re not trying to make the relationship work at all. You just take, take, take and now you’re trying to keep the focus on you! Did you even notice that she changed the part in her hair? No! You never give her any compliments!
(Timed event) Compliment her because you really don’t want to die... she might’ve chopped off your fingers and toes but there’s still a chance that you get out of this alive. So you comment on her damned hair to appease her. But it isn’t enough. (Timed event) Compliment her again, mentioning how kind she is for sheltering you from the storm and even introducing you to Gamma. Jac assures you that she couldn’t just leave you out there to freeze. She hugs you, pressing her head against yours... But she still doesn’t move to stop the bleeding so (timed event) compliment her again. You call her a one-of-a-kind girl and Jac blushes and beams at your words. You do care! And in the blink of an eye there’s suddenly a tourniquet wrapped around your arm and she’s pressing down on the wound with some gauze. She continues to sit with you, changing out the gauze as it gets bloody, until finally the bleeding stops. You feel woozy and slump in the chair; Jac gives you one last touch before going back to the kitchen.
Eventually you have enough energy to raise your head and you see her pouring some of your blood into the batter for the cake. The sight makes you want to heave but your body is too weak to respond to the urge. She bakes the cake and gets started on the icing, which also gets a helping of blood poured in. After the icing is done, she starts cleaning your blood off the walls; she’s constantly licking the blood off her hands as she goes, not wanting to waste any. When the cake is almost ready, she comes back to your chair. She wants you to know that you did really well and she gives you a sample of the leftover cake mix. You are too weak to resist, the taste of sugar and copper fill your mouth. Again, she leaves to start assembling the cake and you just sit there, hoping for the spots in your vision to fade. When she comes back, instead of having a piece to offer you, she’s holding an ice cream scoop. She opens your eyelid with her free hand and presses the scoop into your eye- she wants to use it as a cherry! You are in too much pain to even scream at this point as she digs out your eye! You stat to lose consciousness (Image of a blood red cake with red icing and a single eye on top) (Recipe 2: Blood Red Velvet Cake). The last thing you see before passing out is Jac enjoying a slice of bloody cake.
You wake up to the sound of the tv again, this time it’s Dance Dance Revolution. As the music starts up, you can hear thuds and cursing as Jac tries to follow along. She’s not really good at it... she tries to blame the wiimote. She turns off the tv and comes into the kitchen; you can see some bruises already forming from when she ran into the furniture. Stay quiet as she pours herself a glass of water. Afterward she goes back and tries again but there is still a lot of thuds and cursing. You go to sleep, thankful that she doesn’t take anything else from you.
Later, when it’s dark out, you hear Jac in the bedroom talking to Gamma. Apparently Gamma is muttering to herself about something and Jac is tired of hearing it. She says that the old head-on-a-stick just doesn’t understand love. You’d never leave her! You don’t actually hear Gamma say anything but Jac does and she complains about her comments hurting her head and that she’s scared. Suddenly Jac calls her Gamma a foolish old hag, a nuisance. Something about control and prayers... You hear a loud cracking sound (repeated banging sound effect) and open your eyes. Jac is in the kitchen with Gamma... she’s banging the severed head against the counter, cracking open the skull (image of Jac with a bloody head, some brains showing). There is blood spattered all over the kitchen and you think you also see bits of brain too... Jac turns to you and sees that you’re awake and tries to explain. She says that she’s doing it for ‘us’, the relationship- Gamma was saying all kinds of hurtful things and needed to be dealt with! She stands up and yells that there’s nothing wrong with her or what she’s doing! Jac laughs (laugh sound effect) and says that she’s in control. She continues to explain that she’s doing what she does because it’s what makes people strong. As you grow, you eat stuff and that makes the body stronger. So if she eats you, you’ll be a part of her forever. That means you’ll never leave or lie or cheat. You two can be together forever. Jac loves you so much, she can’t stand the thought of being apart. Which means she needs more of you.
You squirm at the way she’s staring at you... and you don’t feel any better when she puts a hand on your leg and tells you that they need to come off... you’re fairly certain that she isn’t talking about your pants. She pulls out a large kitchen knife and you struggle as she cuts through your jeans. You hear her murmur to herself about how much of you there is that doesn’t belong to her. It’s still attached to your body which means it isn’t hers... Shout out I don’t belong to you! because she’s crazy and you don’t want to be eaten! Jac takes it in stride though, agreeing that you don’t, not yet. Then the knife is slicing into your skin as she starts to cut off your leg. You scream and she doesn’t stop you, just keep cutting until she gets to the femur. She pulls out a bone saw and gets to work. You scream and curse as she saws until finally the bone snaps (cracking noise). Once the leg is gone, she sews your skin together and kisses the stump. Then to stop the bleeding, she boils a pot of water and dips your leg in it. You writhe in pain while Jac coos at you. You’re halfway there! She comments about how strong you are as she starts to cut into your other leg, that you won’t crack under the pressure of her love. You’re pretty delirious by the time she snaps through your other femur (cracking sound). And then it’s back into the hot water when she’s done with it. Jac tells you that you’re beautiful. You sit there as she cooks up your leg. It’s quiet except for the impatient tapping of Jac’s foot as she waits for the meat to brown. Eventually she can’t wait anymore and her body starts to morph (snapping/cracking sound effect)... her whole body changes shape! She’s a monster. She starts to eat the piece of thigh meat (image of medium rare meat with some sprigs of rosemary) (Recipe 3: Seared Leg Meat) and you can’t really comprehend what’s happening. You black out as you see the monster reach for your other leg, the raw one.
It’s the middle of the night and Jac is talking to her Gamma. She apologizes and is upset that her Gamma isn’t talking to her... She says that she’s afraid that she really left this time... Jac tells her Gamma that she did something really bad today. She almost thought she wanted to change but the scratching started again and she lost herself.
When you wake up next, Jac is nearby, putting a big coat on. She awkwardly tells you to wake up since it’s almost noon; she calls you sleepyhead as she tries to be cheerful. You look down at your missing legs and say nothing. Jac fills the silence by telling you that she’s going to the store to buy some stuff for the Big Meal that she has planned. It’s because you’re worth it. Stay quiet *...* because you don’t care. Jac frowns and awkwardly excuses herself.
There’s nothing for you to do except listen to the wind howl and focus on your breathing as you try to ignore the pain... it sucks. But eventually you fall asleep. At some point Jac came back and when you come to, she’s in the kitchen once again. She tries to make conversation, asking how you ended up in the mountains. You sit in silence and watch her bustle around the kitchen; you notice a lot of extra foodstuffs around the kitchen this time. Is this for the Big Meal? Suddenly a knife whizzes past your nose, cutting the tip. Blood oozes down your face as Jac glares at you. She asked you a question! She’s tired of being ignored! (Timed event) Say something to her to appease her, you didn’t mean to ignore her! You ask her about being a demon and she brightens up, happy that you noticed. She explains that she isn’t exactly a demon herself, just that she’s in a symbiotic relationship with one, they share her body. She comments that it’s a remarkable relationship, similar to the love she shares with you. There’s a lull in the conversation so (timed event) say something again so she doesn’t get mad. This time you ask about something Tara mentioned, about her being an embittered lover. Jac waves it off saying that she can’t control the things people say about her, only she knows the truth. She goes back to talking about all the men and women that are now a part of her forever because she ate them... lovely. But then she mentions how they are inside her, screaming, clawing... like their souls are trapped inside her... how horrific. You notice her eyes start to turn brown and right as she starts to ask you for help, they turn green once more and she starts humming. (Timed event) Say something about helping her, if there is something you can do, you’ll do it! If it means you don’t have to die! Jac cuts you off though, saying that everything’s ready! You notice vegetables, fish, and rice.
Suddenly she comes over and pokes your stomach, commenting that skin is ‘such a silly organ’... oh no. It keeps all the good stuff hidden away. Jac runs a hand over your stomach and says that she wants to see you naked, so she can see the real you. Then you’d have nothing to hide behind. Your heart is so far away, hidden behind the skin, muscles, bones... Next she grabs a potato peeler and tells you that she wants to fix it, to tear down the walls. You struggle as she pulls up your shirt, knowing what’s coming. The peeler goes down your stomach, taking your skin with it. Blood leaks down your body as she peels off your skin; you’re being flayed alive. Jac comments that you’re beautiful without your skin, she thinks the red is pretty. As she peels more skin away, she suddenly starts cackling (laugh sound effect) and comments that she wants to peel your skin off in sheets and use it as blankets! She rips the skin off your stomach and runs her fingers over the exposed muscle... it burns! You weep as she walks away, taking the skin with her. You look away as she starts to cut it into smaller pieces and laying out the rice and vegetables. Eventually she’s done, all the pieces organized on a plate (image of sushi rolls with skin on some of them) (Recipe 4: Pink and Red Roll). You cry and shudder as you look at the plate and it takes you a moment to realize that someone else is crying too.
Jac has tears streaming down her face.. she comes over and buries her face in your chest as she wails, apologizing. She undoes the strap around one wrist and puts your mangled hand on her head, to calm herself. You weave in and out of consciousness with her in your lap; she continues to apologize. You hear her mention that there’s only one way to save you... as you open your eyes you see Jac with a shotgun.
Death 7:
Jac knows that she needs to do it before she loses control again. She says that she loves you. You call out for her to wait but she pulls the trigger (gunshot noise) and you feel sudden pain along with a ringing in your ears. The gun is shaking in Jac’s hands as she sobs, realizing that she missed... you aren’t dead yet. There’s another gunshot (gunshot noise) and Jac is apologizing again. There is so much pain... (gunshot noise) there’s one final bang before everything goes black.
TIP: Spend more time talking with your lover.
First round of deaths in this guide! Since the game doesn’t have as many branches as BTD that means there are going to be more endings in each post, that way the posts don’t feel too repetitive. I’m changing up the answers as much as I can so that way there is some variation on what text you’ll get.
Just for anyone that hasn’t read my BTD or TDDUP guides, here’s a quick rundown of the format.
Everything that is story related is under a Read More not only because of spoilers but because I go into story detail. That makes them long and not every one of my followers wants to see details to a gory game. I add story detail for a few reasons, it gives better context for the dialogue option, I hate boring list formats, and also it allows me to add in trigger/squick warnings. This game isn’t as bad with the visual elements but I’ll still add in any warnings I think are applicable as I go. Warning and other random notes will be in () and will be italicized. If you’re someone that feels like they need warnings, please be on the lookout for the (notes).
Dialogue options are bolded. I bold them so it makes it easier to just skip through my long guides for anyone that just wants the answers without the story. It also just makes them stand out in general so no one misses a point (I know with BTD I did miss bolding some of the options because there was just so much writing... I’m going to try to be more careful with these guides)
Lastly I have all the endings in italics and in indented quote blocks. I do this so the ending stands out from the rest of the guide. This is how I write 3-4 endings into one long post because they are usually simple branches of dialogue. So if you see an italicized ending and it isn’t the end of the guide, don’t forget to save your game! Save, get the ending I describe (if you need it), then reload the save and continue reading my guide to continue going through the story!
Let’s get started! (One last note, since there are dialogue options that are just ellipsis (...) and those are hard to see even when they are bolded, for those option I will put stay quiet *...* so those parts are easier to see)
You’re running through the woods, terrified! The snow and wind is making everything harder but you can’t stop… even though your legs are numb… As you run, you look back and see the monster still behind you. It’s towering over the trees on long limbs- it’s something out of a nightmare! How did this happen? It was just supposed to be a normal camping trip and now you’re running for your life! You can’t take anymore so you squeeze your eyes shut, willing it all to be a dream, it isn’t really happening. You think about the trip, how it all started out fine. (Enter your name and proceed with the flashback)
Tara finishes unloading everything from the car and comes over to check on your progress. Tell her that “I’m slacking off” just to make her mad. She huffs and says that you’ve been hanging out with Corbin too much- and just like that, Corbin appears! Tara notices that he has a beer and wants to know where he got it. Corbin admits that he had to dig under all the bags in order to reach the cooler, not realizing that he’s making Tara mad- he could’ve helped unload if he was so desperate for a beer! Tara stops herself from getting too mad though, instead she swipes the can from his hand and drinks it, forcing Corbin to get another beer. While they go on with their usual antics, you get started with the tents- no one wants to sleep outside! You think to yourself about how long you’ve been doing the annual camping trips with these two. You’ve known them only for a few years now but it didn’t take long for the trips to become your group thing.
Eventually Tara comes over to check on your progress, noting that you’re almost finished. That means it’s almost time for a breather! (Warning screen about timed events pops up) Tara playfully pushes you and you trip over a log. (Timed event) Let the timer run out without clicking the button. You fall down (Warning screen about certain choices leading to death), heading right for the ground.
Death 1:
Fall straight down because your reaction time just sucks. You didn’t see the branch until it was too late! It pierces your neck and blood fills your throat as you struggle to breathe. Your friends scream and everything fades to black
TIP: Make the first move.
Move right and fall into a pile of soft snow as Tara apologizes- she didn’t mean to knock you over! She isn’t too sorry though because she’s giggling. It’s fine, it’s just snow, it isn’t like anything bad could’ve happened, right? Your two friends lie beside you, staring up at the starry sky. Tara comments about how pretty it is but you can’t help but think ‘I’d rather be at home on my computer’ - you don’t say that though! It is nice to be hanging out with your friends after all. Corbin starts thinking about the first time the three of you went camping and how Tara would ruin nice moments by telling scary stories! Which prompts Tara to tell a scary story, he should’ve seen that coming. He covers his ears as Tara warns you about wendigos! Ask her “What would you know about Native American legends?” and Tara claims that her second cousin’s aunt is like 15% Native American! Which... she doesn’t even know what tribe and quickly goes back to telling her story.
Apparently there have been a lot of disappearances in the area, going back 5 years. Corbin already doesn’t want to hear any more and he’s blocking his ears... it’s annoying and you know he isn’t going to stop so call out “stop it, Tara!” which she just laughs off before continuing the story. Corbin can’t help but get involved in the story, questioning if people disappeared from the very same campsite. She says that there haven’t been any traces of anyone found, not even a finger! Somehow the tale claims that the disappearances all started with a scorned lover, some young woman was camping with the man she loved but she caught him with her best friend! That was the moment she sold her soul to a wendigo! She started to shift and change shape. Tara leans closer to Corbin and asks if he wants to know what happened next. He doesn’t but she tells him anyways! The man woke up the next morning and went to hug his side chick and found just her skin- the monster that was previously his girlfriend had eaten all of her insides! At this point you tell Tara that she sucks. Corbin claims that Tara is losing her edge; she takes it in stride though he was obviously still scared. The two continue to bicker and soon there are snowballs going back and forth.
Later, after everyone has gone to bed, you wake up suddenly, in the middle of the night. You see a dark shape wandering around the outside of the tent... a human shaped shadow... You can’t imagine it’s someone else but you also can’t imagine that Tara or Corbin are awake right now. As you sit up, you feel hyper alert and realize just how bad it’s snowing outside. But it wasn’t supposed to storm, otherwise you wouldn’t have come... Sudden you hear Corbin calling your name. Something about it sets you on edge so stay quiet *...* But Corbin insists that he wants to see you. Oh no, no way, tell him “I’m not coming out of this tent” because you are smarter than that. You’re terrified and suddenly you feel a puff of breath on your neck! You realize now that the voice wasn’t coming from outside... slowly you look over to the side and you see a shadowy form hunched beside you. A hand reaches out and touches your cheek and that’s when you snap out of it. Get the hell out of there, you aren’t staying another moment because something is wrong! As you scramble for the exit, a hand reaches out and grabs your ankle... trying to keep you there. But you shake yourself free and rush out into the cold air, smacking into Tara. The two of you cling to each other as you see the pool of red leaking out of Corbin’s tent.... Then you look back at your tent as a creature climbs out... and covering the creatures face is Corbin’s skin.... Tara tells you to run.
(flashback over) You fall to the ground and snap back to the present... Tara urges you to get up, you have to keep going; she’s suddenly pulled away from you... she screams and you can hear her bones snapping (mushy, snapping sound effect with a scream)... you can’t do anything but run, knowing it’s too late to save her. Somehow, eventually, the sound of the creature fades away, have you lost it? Hopefully, because your legs have reached their limits and it’s hard to keep going. As you’re crawling through the snow you see a light- a cabin! You use the last of your energy to get to the front door and knock. Thankfully someone is home and opens the door! The woman asks how she can help you and you blurt out a rushed sentence that you know doesn’t make a lot of sense. All she seems to notice is that you look frozen and tells you to come inside. Despite the fear and weariness, you can’t help but take a moment to realize that she seems untouched by the storm. How strange... In fact the whole evening just seems too crazy... Go with your instincts and don’t enter the cabin. But you also know that the monster is still out there. You need to call for help and she’s your only hope, you can’t head back into the storm, you don’t have the energy.
She introduces herself as Jac and reminds you to wipe the snow off your feet before coming in. As you cross into the house, the wind slams the door shut behind you. Ominous... Well, whatever, at least you’re in from the cold. Now that you’re a little more clear-headed, you try telling Jac the news. There’s a monster out in the woods and it’s eaten your friends. Instead of questioning your statement or even looking at you funny, Jac comments that it was probably because one of them was a dolt that didn’t deserve you and the other was a hussy! What does that even mean? You stare at her, taken aback by her comment. She asks why you’re staring at her and you say it’s nothing. Surely she didn’t say what you thought you heard. Before you can think anything else of it, fatigue hits you hard... your knees wobble and your vision blurs. Jac grabs your shoulders and says that it’ll all be okay, you need some warm food and rest. You sit as she moves to the kitchen and starts frying up some meat. As you sit, wrapped in a dry blanket, you realize that a lot of her furniture is covered up... does she not want it to get dirty or something? Well whatever, you’re too tired to think and definitely too tired for small talk so stay quiet while Jac is cooking.
Jac fills the silence, mentioning that ‘he’ was a good boy, sensitive and caring. He tried to act tough but she knew he was sweet on the inside. You notice that she’s looking at the patty in the frying pan as she says all this... Is she... talking about a person? Because she’s being a little weird and it’s hard to tell just where this conversation is going. All of a sudden, she gets an angry look on her face, muttering about how he got caught talking to another woman. She knew him better and she loved him and he should’ve felt the same way! Before things can get any stranger though, she calms herself and says that she’s the only one who can have him now. As she places the patty on a plate in front of you, she comments that he been the sweetest that she’s ever loved- you’ll see when you have a bite. The whole conversation has really made you uneasy so don’t eat the food ... like, it’s really starting to sound like the patty is made from the guy she’s talking about. Tell her you aren’t hungry. She gets a little miffed at that, saying she specifically cooked it for you, you needed the food, why aren’t you eating it? You apologize and say that you’ve had a rough night and your appetite is just gone. Jac calls you a stick-in-the-mud but then touches your cheek, commenting that that was why she fell in love with you. She gives you a creepy smile and that’s when you finally pass out from fatigue.
Some time later you wake back up, confused. Where are you again? What’s going on? You hear someone talking, they mention something about Gamma and no embarrassing baby photos? You try to rouse yourself a little more and realizes that you’ve been tied to a chair! Something is very wrong... When you open your eyes fully, you see Jac talking to... a severed head... mounted on a broom stick... What in the world is going on?! Scream because this is scary as hell and really, what other reaction is there? Jac jumps and glares at you, scolding you- that’s no way to greet a lady’s family! As she points to the head on the broomstick she calls her Gamma. She’s been talking to Gamma the whole time, telling her all about you and now you’re embarrassing her!
Death 2:
This lady is insane and you’ve had all you can take. Yell out “What have you done to me?! You crazy bitch!” It goes over about as well as can be expected.... meaning that Jac’s body starts to shift until the monster from the forest is standing in front of you (mushy, bone snapping sound effect). Jac roars out that you aren’t good enough to be eaten, not after that! She rips into you with her sharp claws.
TIP: Never be rude to your lover’s folks
Oops, you made her mad and Jac doesn’t seem like the kind of person that you want to piss off. Say “I’m sorry” and try to make it up to her. It works, the look on her face softens and she realizes that you’re probably still getting over the rough night you had. She assures you that there is nothing to be worried about, her grandma is a nice woman and she knows the two of you will get along just fine. Stay quiet *...* because what does she really expect you to say? Jac pushes on and makes the introductions. Stay quiet *...* again because... it’s a severed head and you can’t bring yourself to act like this is normal. That’s when Jac comments that you don’t look so well, but it’s okay, she and Gamma are tired too so it would be best if everyone just got some sleep. She chastely kisses your cheek and says goodnight.
You sit in the dark kitchen, listening to the storm outside after Jac leaves. Admit to yourself ‘I’m terrified’ because you’ve been jumping at every creak and groan in the cabin for hours. How are you supposed to get any sleep while tied to a chair in a crazy lady’s home? You hear Jac moving around somewhere else in the cabin and you can’t help but wonder what she does with the broomstick lady whenever she isn’t talking to it... the thought of ‘Gamma’ still creeps you out. Eventually the cabin settles and the storm quiets down. You decide to test your restraints and realize that the one on your right hand is thinner than the others.
Death 3:
This might be your only chance, ‘I need to get out of here.’ So tug and pull at the restraint and eventually free yourself. You’re dizzy when you stand up and you realize how tired you are but you aren’t staying in the cabin another second. You move as quietly as you can to the front door, grabbing your coat and heading outside. Right as you take a step, Jac is right there, asking where you’re going. Tell her “I just need some fresh air*” and hope she buys it. She doesn’t. She says that you’re trying to walk out on her. The hand on your shoulder turns into a vice grip and a sudden gust of wind blows around you. Jac can’t believe you were just trying to disappear in the middle of the night, without saying goodbye. She cooked for you, loved you! And this is how you repay her? The grip tightens and your shoulder breaks as she screams that you’re nothing without her! You hear the sound of bones snapping and flesh tearing... Jac has shifted into the monster (mushy bone snapping sound effect)! The monster says that you aren’t ever going to leave her She bites your head off.
TIP: Don’t walk out on your lover.
*Note: Either answer leads to death, I just thought this one was funny to say
And the last of the game!!! This game had A LOT of stuff for me to type out but I’ve finally reached the end. Don’t forget to read through Part 1 here since this picks up in the middle of the story.
This time when you wake up, Jac is standing over you, watching you… not a good sign. She comments that you look cute when you’re sleeping and you really don’t like the look in her eyes. Is it just a trick of the light that her eyes don’t look brown anymore or…? You wonder at the significance of the situation as Jac prepares for another meal. Looks like dessert this time, judging by the cake tins you see her pull out. Jac comes over and comments that you’re sweet, soft, beautiful. She asks if you know what makes you that way, sarcastically reply with “My winning personality?” because why not. Not that she reacts to the sarcasm, she just leans in closer and says it’s your blood. And she only wants a little bit. That… that doesn’t sound so bad… not like yesterday. You see her pull out a giant needle, tubing, and a blood bag. Which of course prompts her to mention that she’s dated a nurse in the past. Apparently he was her slow-cooked angel because he was so tender (was he tender because he was cooked that way or did she cook him that way to match his personality?? Who knows). You watch, not struggling as she pushes the needle into your arm. Both of you are quiet as your blood flows along the tube and into the bag. You start to daydream, thinking about Tara and Corbin along with other memories of your life. It makes you realize ‘I miss my family’… Are you ever going to see them again? Will they know what happened to you? You’re brought out of your thoughts when Jac pulls the needle out of your skin… Blood spurts out of your arm and onto the walls… she was using an artery and didn’t use any gauze after taking out the needle! And now she’s just standing there! You cry out for her to do something and she just glares at you… She feels like she’s the one putting in all the effort and you’re not trying to make the relationship work at all. You just take, take, take and now you’re trying to keep the focus on you! Did you even notice that she changed the part in her hair? No! You never give her any compliments!
(Timed event) Compliment her because you really don’t want to die… she might’ve chopped off your fingers and toes but there’s still a chance that you get out of this alive. So you comment on her damned hair to appease her. But it isn’t enough. (Timed event) Compliment her again, mentioning how kind she is for sheltering you from the storm and even introducing you to Gamma. Jac assures you that she couldn’t just leave you out there to freeze. She hugs you, pressing her head against yours… But she still doesn’t move to stop the bleeding so (timed event) compliment her again.
The last thing you see before passing out is Jac enjoying a slice of blood cake.
The sound of the TV wakes you up some time later, Jac is playing a dance game. And not very well judging by the thuds and bangs coming from the living room. You hear her curse the wiimote before the music stops. She walks into the kitchen to get some water and you can see the scrape marks from her running into things. She seems ‘normal’ again so say something to her. You comment about the game, how it seems like she’s not too good at it. Jac agrees, the songs on it all are too much for her… she thinks about buying a different game but she stops herself because she’s sure it would be the same no matter what version she has. Disagree and tell her that it will be different because the different games have different songs. She doesn’t agree, saying that nothing ever changes. Counter her, tell her that people change all the time, life changes. It’s inevitable. For some reason that makes her smile and she decides that she will go to the store and buy the new version of the game! She leaves and you’re alone for a few hours; when she comes back, she has the new game. She still isn’t great but there seem to be very thuds and less cursing. Eventually you fall asleep without further incident.
Later that night you can hear Jac talking with Gamma; they seem to be arguing… Or, Jac thinks they are, you don’t hear Gamma saying anything. But Jac seemed angry at her all the same. Gamma is apparently trying to explain love to her and Jac replies that she doesn’t understand anything and that’s why everyone else left…. ouch. But Jac is certain that you’ll never leave her (I mean, you can’t… you don’t have toes, you’re in no condition to try and run away). The conversation changes, Jac is saying that she’s scared now and that she hears scratching. But then it changes again and she’s calling her grandmother a foolish old hag. Sounds like Jac has a few issues that still need to be worked out. You drift off to sleep. Later, a loud crack wakes you up. You hear another, and another, and when you open your eyes, you see a troubling sight. (Image of Jac with Gamma’s head, brains exposed and a red background). Jac is cracking Gamma head against the counter… apparently the conversation from last night really upset her if she’s punishing Gamma like that…
That’s when Jac notices that you’re awake, like she hadn’t expected the sound to wake you. She seems extra crazy today… bad news for you. And of course she notices the worried, scared look on your face and tells you not to worry. She’s doing all of that for you! Gamma wanted her to let you go but you love each other so that means you have to stay! There goes your only hope… Gamma’s severed head really wanted to pull through for you. Jac suddenly yells out that there’s nothing wrong with her or what she’s doing! She laughs and says that she’s in control (’crazy’ laugh sound effect). You understand don’t you? As we go through life, the food we eat makes us big and strong, it makes us who we are, don’t you agree? And if she eats you, you’ll be a part of her forever! Then you’ll never cheat, never lie, never leave! After all, she loves you so much, she wants to spend eternity with you. At this point, you know you’re in big trouble, she’s going to take something else from you… She looks down at your legs and comments that they need to come off… but they don’t just detach, they are a part of your body- not that it’s going to stop her! She uses a knife to cut your jeans and expose your thighs, caressing them. So much of you belongs to her but she can’t have it because it’s still attached to you and honestly, you’re so terrified, you can’t do anything but cry in response. Jac notices your tears, wiping them away with her thumb so she can lick them. Even your tears belong to her apparently.
And while you’re distracted her knife digs into your thigh and she’s sawing it back and forth. You scream and she laughs, continuing to hack at your leg. It isn’t long before she hits bone… Unsurprisingly, she pulls out a bonesaw, she isn’t going to let a silly thing like a femur get in her way! The saw digs into your bone and you scream until your throat is raw. Eventually the bone snaps (cracking sound effect). Quickly, Jac uses some thread to stitch some flaps of skin over the stump, kissing her work before moving to grab the pot of boiling water. You plead with her to stop but she assures you that this was how they did it for the war veterans. Then she dips your raw stump into the pot. The pain makes you lurch forward, straining against your bonds. But it’s okay, you’re already halfway done! She knows you can do it, you can stay strong! Then she gets started on your other leg, the knife digging into your skin again. You’re delirious with pain by the time she breaks through your other femur (cracking sound effect). And again, the boiling water, the searing skin, pain… Jac takes a moment to look at you and comments that you are beautiful.
You watch as she cuts off a slice from one leg to throw into the pan. She seasons it and waits impatiently for it to cook, very impatiently. You can’t help but notice how agitated she seems. Finally she snaps and says that she can’t wait any longer and snatches the meat from the pan only half cooked. Her body starts to shift, you hear her bones snapping and her skin tearing (mushy cracking sound). (Image onscreen of a cut of meat, slightly pink in the center). (Recipe 3: Seared Leg Meat). You watch as the monster gnaws on the cutlet and then reaches for the remains of the leg, uncooked. You pass out again.
Jac’s voice wakes you up in the middle of the night. She’s trying to talk with her Gamma… she apologizes but still hopes that she can hear her. Has Gamma given up on her finally? She admits that she was a monster today and that for just a moment she had a feeling that she wanted to change but then it faded. The voice fades away and you go back to sleep. When you wake up again, it’s daylight and Jac is getting ready to leave. She calls out for you to wake up because it’s going on noon and she awkwardly calls you a sleepyhead. It’s like she’s trying to make a joke but when you look down at your stumps that used to be full sized legs… it’s anything but a joke. Jac moves the conversation along saying that she’s going to be going to the store to get spices for that big special meal she’s been talking about. You see her blush and mumbles that you’re worth it. Maybe you can use that to your advantage, say “Wait! Stay and talk with me!” because maybe you can talk some sense into her. She hedges a bit, looking between you and the door. She isn’t sure if she should talk with you… it might… go badly. You just shrug, not wanting to force her too strongly, and she ends up taking off her boots and coming closer to you. There’s a moment of silence before she admits that she isn’t oblivious to what’s been going on. She does in fact know that she’s possessed by a demon. That all is a surprise to you and you gape at her. You tell her that she can fight the demon, she doesn’t have to live under its thumb. She shushes you, gently, stroking your cheek. Beg, “Please... don’t do this...” and she gets teary eyed. But she says that she has to. It’s because she loves you so much and she can’t let you go because then you’ll be gone forever. There’s a moment of silence before she confides that she never wanted to be this way but she doesn’t know how to go back anymore... Then she stands up and grabs her boots, saying that the spices won’t buy themselves! You have nothing to do but sit there, in pain…
A day goes by with nothing of note happening. Now Jac is back in the kitchen, cooking up a meal, trying to make small talk. She asks how you ended up in the mountains. You can’t help but watch her movements, wondering what she’s going to take from you next.. Suddenly the knife is flicked before your face, the blade cutting your nose. There’s an edge to Jac’s voice as she says that maybe you’re just tired but she said something to you and you’re being rude by not replying. She isn’t going to be ignored anymore, not by anyone! She goes back to talking about all the men and women that are now a part of her forever because she ate them… lovely. But then she mentions how they are inside her, screaming, clawing… like their souls are trapped inside her… how horrific.
Suddenly she comes over and pokes your stomach, commenting that skin is ‘such a silly organ’… oh no. It keeps all the good stuff hidden away. Jac runs a hand over your stomach and says that she wants to see you naked, so she can see the real you. Then you’d have nothing to hide behind. Your heart is so far away, hidden behind the skin, muscles, bones… Next she grabs a potato peeler and tells you that she wants to fix it, to tear down the walls. She rips the skin off your stomach and runs her fingers over the exposed muscle… it burns!
Jac has tears streaming down her face... she comes over and buries her face in your chest as she wails, apologizing. She undoes the strap around one wrist and puts your mangled hand on her head, to calm herself. You weave in and out of consciousness with her in your lap; she continues to apologize. You hear her mention that there’s only one way to save you… as you open your eyes you see Jac with a shotgun. You cry out for her to stop before she can pull the trigger. Thankfully it works, she pauses and looks at you; you tell her that you know it’s not her fault. She lowers the gun and you continue to talk, saying that you saw the real her yesterday, not the monster. You remind her that she doesn’t have to live like this because change can happen. You believe that she can fight it. Jac drops the gun and sinks to the ground, crying. As she sits on the floor and cries, you slip into unconsciousness for a moment. When you wake up, Jac has moved and you can hear growling and hissing... As you open your eyes you see Monster-Jac eating the sushi rolls. She turns and smiles at you before you pass out yet again.
The rest of the day passes... Jac doesn’t watch tv, doesn’t play games- she doesn’t even try to talk with Gamma. It’s quiet. You eventually fall asleep as it gets later. During the middle of the night, you wake up after hearing footsteps. Jac is there in her nightgown, looking at you. Her eyes are brown again and she’s very upset. She sobs out that she doesn’t want to kill you. Ask ‘why not?’ and she says that she loves you and wants to be with you. She knows what the demon is doing is wrong. And this might be your last night together... She goes on to explain that she let the demon possess her because she was lonely and it promised that she’d never be lonely again. And she isn’t lonely, because every night there are ghosts that haunt her, she can feel them inside her. What’s surprising is that when she looks at you, the voices seem to get a little quieter. Suddenly she begs you to say something, the voices are getting louder!
Death 8:
Say nothing because there’s nothing to say. After hearing that she let the demon possess her, well, that changes your opinion. Jac whimpers but when she lifts her head, her eyes are green again. Jac says that she’ll see you tomorrow and goes back to bed. You go back to sleep.
When you wake up, the cloth from the table is gone and you see all sorts of runes and symbols painted all over. Somehow she got you to the table without you realizing it... This is it. As you look at Jac, you see the two halves of her; there’s just a flash of brown in her eyes still. But despite that, she crawls on top of you and says that it’s finally time- you’re going to be hers forever! She can’t wait to eat you! As she sits over top of you, glowing runes appear on her skin. Things are definitely different this time. She’s going to pluck your heart out and eat it. You can’t find any words to say... right before your eyes Jac changes again, shifting into her monstrous form (snapping/cracking sound effect). It’s time for you two to be together. Her teeth rip into your flesh and her claws dig into your stomach. Your vision is fading as you hear her crack open your ribcage. Your heart is hers now.
TIP: Don’t let your lover go to bed feeling upset.
Everything is black but you can feel hands running over your body. You know that they belong to the others. Some are screaming and others are weeping. You find a way to open your eyes and you see your own broken body below you. You realize that you’re seeing out of Jac’s eyes as she feasts on your body. You can see what she sees but you have no control over her actions. She wasn’t lying after all
Now you are together forever.
Say something to her, anything- if your voice helps then talk away! it’s your only chance. You say that you know she can fight it, that this isn’t the real her. Her eyes shift between green and brown as she listen to you, so you continue. She doesn’t want this, she doesn’t want to be controlled by a demon, so she has to fight it. Jac claws at the back of her neck and you falter, admitting that you aren’t sure what to say to help her. The green wins out and Jac stops struggling; she gets up and caresses your face, telling you that soon you’ll be together forever. Then she disappears upstairs and you slump down, defeated. You try to think of something to say to her that will help her fight the demon.
Time passes and at some point you wake up... Jac is standing above you, grinning. You’ve been moved to the table and there are glowing runes painted everywhere! As you look up at Jac, you see that there’s still some brown in her eyes, she’s still trying to fight! She’s willing to fight, and so are you. As she climbs on top of you, saying that the time has finally come, you struggle to find the right words. She says that she’s going to eat your heart and you can be together forever. All you have to say is that you love her. Her eyes flash brown and she freezes, laughing nervously. She tells you not to catch her off guard like that. You push, saying that it’s true, you want to spend the rest of your life with her (not that you’re going to live that long...). It seems to be working, Jac clutches her head in confusion. Press on, telling her that you know you’re both in a lot of pain but you believe that the two of you are strong enough. She starts to rock and you tell her that you’re not going anywhere. Jac’s eyes flash back to green and she ends up yanking tufts of hair out of her head, yelling at you to stop confusing her! You need to die! But then she’s screaming at herself saying not to kill you. Her arms are bloody as she scratches herself and fights for control. She reaches out and grabs a large knife. You try to tell her that she doesn’t have to do it but she pounces on you. She stabs you over and over, chanting for you to die. You scream.
Death 9:
The pain is too much, you can’t form any words (let the timer run out). She stabs you in the throat and blood fills your mouth. But she continues to stab you. You try to breathe but there’s too much blood. Jac’s face starts to change as she leans down to bite you before everything goes dark
TIP: Profess your love while you still can!
(Timed event) Profess your love as loud as you can, knowing that’s what she needs to hear. The pain is bad but you’re not giving up! She stabs you again so (timed event) profess your love again. Tears are streaming down her face. (Timed event) Profess your love a third time, loudly telling her that you love her. Jac screams loudly as you close your eyes; you feel the chains around your wrists shatter. When you open your eyes, there are brown eyes staring back at you. Carefully you reach up and touch her face; she stares at you a moment before exclaiming that the voices are gone! She smiles, full of relief, a real smile. But then she looks down and sees the blood, remembering all the things she’s done to you. You do your best to comfort her with your draining strength.
A sudden voice calls out that you belong to them! Both of you turn and see a dark figure towering over you. Hands are grabbing you, dark hands from everywhere! Again the voice claims that you are theirs. Jac screams out and there’s a sudden light filling the room. Vaguely you see the light take the shape of an older woman and she stands guard over Jac, protecting her. There’s a brilliant flash of light and then you see a woman with three eyes smiling at you. You feel your pain fade away and your limbs regrow... but then the woman disappears... a dark shadow takes her place. Everything fades to black.
Survival:
It’s later and you’re standing out in the cold snow with Jac. There are sirens and the cabin is burning down; the firemen can’t get close at all because the heat from the flames is so high. You wipe a stray tear from Jac’s cheek, asking her what’s wrong. She admits that she’s scared, she doesn’t know where she is... You think to yourself that it’s probably best that she doesn’t remember anything. The last thing she remembers is hitting a deer and getting in the car with some stranger... Now she’s standing out in the forest by a burning cabin. Worst of all she can’t get a hold of her grandma... she has nowhere to go. You smile and tell her that she can stay with you. She relaxes and comments that she just has this feeling that she can trust you. Your eyes look over her skin as the two of you walk away. Your green eyes. You start to think about the best way to cook her and what seasonings to use.
Now get on out there, there’s so many people just waiting to be loved!
Last three endings here! Let’s work our way to the end of the game. Since these ones literally have to go to the end of the game, I cut this one into two parts as well, it was inevitable. Even though it’s cut in half, it’s still REALLY long so, prepare yourself for a lot of scrolling lol
You’re running for your life, trying to lose the monster in the forest... It’s the middle of the night and you can barely see but you have to keep going. The snow and wind is slowing your progress, your legs are numb… but you can’t stop. As you run, you look back and see the monster still behind you.
Tell her that “I’m taking a break because I’ve been working so hard” because getting everything unpacked is hard work, you needed a breather. Tara is happy with your progress and comments that Corbin should take a page from your book. And by mentioning his name, he appears, beer in hand. She notices the beer and wants to know where he got it. He admits that he had to dig under all the bags in order to reach the cooler, but it was worth it. Tara gets mad- he could’ve helped unload if he was so desperate for a beer! Tara stops herself from yelling, instead she swipes the can from his hand and drinks it, forcing Corbin to get another beer. While they go on with their usual antics, you get started with the tents, if you don’t, everyone will be sleeping in the snow. You think to yourself about how long you’ve been doing the annual camping trips with these two. You’ve known them most of my life and you’ve been going on camping trips with them since you were little.
Eventually Tara comes back over to check on your progress, noting that you’re almost finished. That means it’s almost time for a breather! (Warning screen about timed events pops up) Tara playfully pushes you and you trip over a log. (Timed event) Catch self because you aren’t going to go down that easily! Not that it matters, Tara comes over and shoves you again while Corbin eggs her on. You fall down (Warning screen about certain choices leading to death), heading right for the ground. Move left and land in a soft pile of snow, Corbin and Tara plopping down next to you. Tara comments about how pretty it is and you have to agree, ‘they really are beautiful’ and you can’t help but admire the night sky. Corbin starts thinking about the first time the three of you went camping and how Tara would ruin nice moments by telling scary stories! Which prompts Tara to tell a scary story, he should’ve seen that coming. He covers his ears as Tara warns you about wendigos! Ask her “What is a wendigo?” and Tara explains that they are Native American demons that eat people. Corbin challenges her knowledge by saying that she never even heard of them before Until Dawn! Tara tells him to shut up and then continues on with her story.
About 4 or 5 years ago, people started disappearing from the campsite, whole groups of people, not just lonely hikers. Corbin already doesn’t want to hear any more and he’s blocking his ears... You kinda want to hear the story though so say “Shut up Corbin,” to get him to stop. And it works, she continues the story and Corbin can’t help but get into it, questioning if people disappeared from the very same campsite. Tara can neither confirm nor deny. Instead she just says that there haven’t been any traces of anyone found, not even a finger!
Something about it sets you on edge but you need to know if he’s okay so call out “Yes?” He says that he wants to see you... Everything about this is weird but for some reason, you decide to go along with it. Tell him, “Okay, I’m coming out of the tent” but a hand suddenly grabs your shoulder! Corbin whispers for you to stay... because apparently he’s been in your tent the whole time! Slowly you look over to the side and you see a shadowy form hunched beside you. A hand reaches out and touches your cheek and that’s when you snap out of it. Something is wrong.Stay calm, you don’t want to appear freaked out, something tells you that that would be a bad thing. You calmly put on your boots and crawl to the tent flap. Corbin calls out, asking you not to leave, adding on that you’ll regret it as you open the zipper. You don’t respond at all and climb out of the tent, leaving Corbin alone. As you straighten up, you nearly knock over Tara, who was standing right outside the tent. She woke up too and knew something was wrong... She points to Corbin’s tent. The two of you cling to each other as you see the pool of red leaking out of his tent.... Then you look back at your tent as a creature climbs out... the creature has long limbs and grayish skin... sharp claws... The last thing you see is it’s face- Corbin’s face! The skin is all wrong and it’s oozing blood... the creature is wearing his face like a mask! Tara tells you to run.(flashback over)
You fall to the ground and snap back to the present... But it has to be your imagination, your mind is obviously overloaded with everything that’s happened. Take her up on her offer and enter the cabin. You immediately start to warm up a bit as the door slams shut behind you. The woman introduces herself and asks that you wipes off your shoes. As you do so, you try to explain again, that there’s a monster and you need help. Surprisingly, instead of dismissing your statement, she says the monster probably had good reason to eat them- one was a dummy and the other was a hussy! Whhhaaaaa? Maybe you misheard what she said, there is no way she said that... she doesn’t even know your friends right? It’s just because you’re tired, like, you can barely stand! Jac guides you into a seat, worried about you; she offers to get you some food.
Jac throws a meat patty into a pan and starts to cook it while you relax. You’re wrapped in a blanket now so you’re starting to warm up. Not wanted to appear ungrateful, try to think of something to say to break the silence. Nothing comes out though, your brain is fried... but at least you tried to say something. Jac breaks the silence herself though as she starts to murmur about a good boy. He was sensitive and caring even though he tried to act like a tough guy. But she knew he was sweet because of his heart. You notice that she’s looking at the patty as she says all this. ‘She must be talking about the cow’ you think to yourself. She proves you wrong in the next second, frowning and saying that he had the nerve to talk to another woman! How dare he?! She was the one that knew him first so he should’ve loved her back! Then Jac calms herself and says that it doesn’t matter because she’s the only one who can have him now. Next she’s placing the patty on a plate and setting it in front of you. That boy was the sweetest person she’s loved and suggests you take a bite to confirm for yourself. You have no idea just where this conversation is going but you’re too tired to really understand the implication. All you know is that you’re hungry so eat the food she’s offering. As you chew on it, you can’t help but notice that it’s tough and it tastes more like pork than beef... Jac smiles at you as you eat, cryptically saying that he’s a part of both of you forever. That’s all the weirdness you can handle and you finally just pass out.
Some time later you wake back up, confused. Where are you again? What’s going on? You hear someone talking, they mention something about Gamma and no embarrassing baby photos? You try to rouse yourself a little more and realizes that you’ve been tied to a chair! Something is very wrong… When you open your eyes fully, you see Jac talking to… a severed head… mounted on a broom stick… (image of severed head without eyes mounted on a mop) What in the world is going on? You’re freaked out but you manage to stay silent, not wanting to draw attention to yourself. Not that it matters, she turns around and sees that you’re awake just a moment later. She tells you that you don’t have to be shy at all, her grandmother is one of the nicest people ever, she’ll love you. You really aren’t sure what’s going on but it seems like Jac is taking this seriously so turn to the severed head and say ‘Hello, Ma’am, it’s nice to meet you’ in greeting. You made the right choice, Jac is happy that you’re being so polite. She tells you that Gamma has been dying to meet you, ever since she started talking about you... but when did Jac start talking about you exactly? You happened upon the cabin just the other day... You don’t have time to question that though, Jac is introducing you to Gamma. Continue to be polite and say ‘What should I call you, Ma’am?’ which makes Jac scoff. You can just call her Gamma, you’re a part of the family after all! Jac finally notices the look on your face and says that you should rest up. She kisses you on the cheek and takes Gamma out of the room.
You’re stuck in the kitchen as night falls, the cabin getting dark. Tell yourself ‘I need to stay calm’ because there is no use panicking. That would just make things worse. Elsewhere in the cabin, you can hear Jac walking around as she gets in the shower. You can’t help but wonder what she does with ‘Gamma’ when she’s not actually talking to it. Eventually Jac climbs into bed and the cabin gets even quieter... You take a moment to assess the situation. You’re tied to a chair and stuck in a cabin with a crazy person. The leather straps around your wrist seem old and thin, it might be possible to break out. But no, tell yourself ‘I’d better stay put’ because as crazy as Jac seems, she’s better than that awful monster that killed Tara and Corbin. The cabin is shelter, you’re safer inside. You decide to get some sleep while you can.
All too soon Jac is calling out good morning and waking you up… is it already morning? She asks how you slept answer ‘good’ to sound like a happy guest. Jac doesn’t seem to notice your reply though, instead noticing the loose strap around your wrist! She says that it must’ve come loose from the last one, revealing without a doubt that she’s done this before. Not what you wanted to hear… But she turns away and starts bustling around the kitchen, taking out some pans and heating up a really nice deep fryer. You see her hold up a large knife and she tells you to put your hand out. Uuummmm... you’re scared but you still shouldn’t piss her off so obey and slowly unclench your hand for her. But the second she moves the knife over your fingers you reflexively curl them back up. She doesn’t get mad though, instead commenting that she figured you’d be nervous. She pulls out a specially made clamp and forces your hand into it with her superior strength. Now your fingers are forced out in the open. Jac makes a comment about bite force and carrots but you don’t really listen… You hear her whisper something about love bites and then she comments that you’d look really cute with a couple of stubs. She places the knife over your fingers and you struggle. Then she brings the knife down (chopping sound); there is blood and pain… you scream. Jac flinches and tells you that you screamed right in her ear… why are you being rude? She didn’t get a lot of sleep because she was arguing with Gamma and now she has a headache, so could you please not? You really aren’t sure what to say to that so stay quiet *...* and let her continue her work... Of course she notices that you’ve gone silent and comments that you must not be a morning person.
Before you know it, the knife comes down again, your index finger... As bad as the pain is, you really don’t want to piss her off so (timed event) hold it in and don’t scream (chopping sound). She gathers up all your severed fingers and tosses them into a batter mixture before throwing them into the deep fryer… she’s seriously cooking your fingers… You watch as she goes over to the pan on the stove and vaguely wonder what that pan is for… Jac comments that you’ve made a mess and then presses the hot pan against your bleeding stumps. You can’t hold back this scream but she stuffs her cooking mitt into your mouth to muffle it. You try to breath, try to focus past the pain… but now she’s moving onto your other hand… (chopping sound). Again, when she’s done, she uses the hot pan to burn your stumps and stop the bleeding. Then she’s pulling out the first batch of fingers and throwing in the second batch… You hear the oil bubble as she puts them in. (Image of batter covered fingers and toes on a plate) (Recipe 1: Fried Fingers and Toes). You watch in horror as Jac nibbles on your cooked flesh…. between that and the pain, you finally pass out.
When you come too, it’s morning and Jac isn’t around.Thank goodness! You’re in so much pain, the burned edges of your hands and feet are the worst... You keep trying to wiggle your fingers but there’s nothing there to move. Time passes slowly for you, the pain is all you can really focus on. It’s not until noon that Jac finally appears. But she’s different, doesn’t make eye contact and does her best to avoid you. All she does is start a pot of coffee and ignore you, she’s really nothing like before. But you don’t let your guard down, not after all the weird stuff from yesterday. It isn’t until she finally glances at you that you see she has brown eyes?! Her eyes weren’t brown yesterday were they? That doesn’t seem right… Jac leaves the kitchen without saying anything. You hear her in the living room, watching TV… a Korean drama by the sounds of it. She really gets into the story, calling out to the TV as if the characters can hear her. By the time the show is almost over, you have a good idea of who’s who, even though you’ve never seen it before. Something completely upset Jac because she sobs loudly before coming back into the kitchen. You see tears streaming down her face as she digs out a pint of ice cream. Sensing that she’s in a different state of mind, try to talk to her and see if you can’t get through to her. You start simple, just asking what she’s watching. She jumps, surprised by your question, but she doesn’t run off, she tells you a little bit about the show. She comments that she can really relate to a character that’s forced to become something they’re not. You aren’t sure how to reply and there’s a pause between you before Jac apologizes and says that she probably shouldn’t be talking to you. You don’t want to push it so you say that you hope she enjoys the show and let her walk away. You hear her crying some more about the show as you drift off to sleep.
Will you ever be finishing your My Cannibal Lover endings lists?
Yes! I only recently realized that I never finished them… I have drafts of it but never finished writing them out… I’ve also been busy with work so that’s stopped me from getting them posted. But hopefully soon!
Some how... I completely forgot to finish posting the guides for My Cannibal Lover... I have all the drafts here on my Tumblr but I never finished writing them out and then posting them... My bad!!!
