AU where Castiel owns a Chihuahua in MCLUL
You might not know but I own two chihuahua dogs (and I’m Mexican, what a cliché) and tonight talking with my roomie it came to me: “What if Castiel somehow got stuck taking care of a chihuahua dog!???” You know, after all the “Demon might be dead” deal, he could have no dog and be all lonely at home so I came up with this:
• A friend of his was leaving town to go work for some fancy company abroad and could not take his dog with him, so he thought since Castiel was a dog lover + experienced dog owner, he might be up for the job.
• Castiel said yes cause he can’t refuse to help someone who really needs it so, even if he was reluctant at first given it was a very tiny dog, he still accepted.
• The dog is a male 5 y/o short haired black and white chihuahua, it was given to him in a pet carrier and when he opened it up the little pooch just busted right out and started running around him and dancing to be held up.
• Castiel just proceeded to get stuff ready for the dog to be comfortable like a plate for food and water, the bed the previous owner had given him, yet the doggy could not stop pestering him so he decided to give in and tried to hold him, big mistake, he fell into the chihuahua craze!
• He remembered what it was to have a loyal companion by his side, just this time he was really tiny. He went back to the old habits, taking the dog for a walk (tho he got some stares given the contrast of the little dog and the owner), having the dog follow him around to every step he’d give. He didn’t expect it to turn out this way but the two just got along really well.
• He ventured to a pet shop one day to get the dog some kind of clothing since it showed to be really cold and shaky when going for a walk, someone told him chihuahuas can get cold easily and sometimes they need to wear sweaters and such. He got really overwhelmed with the variety of choices, he’d never had to dress a dog before. Ended up picking a black little jacket with a skull on the back, cause if he was dressing his dog, it might as well be something he liked.
• He ended up taking the dog with him when going on tour with the band, felt strange at first but then he realized the conevenience of having a dog that size, he wouldn’t have to miss it cause he could take it with him! Got some laughs from his band mates but in a matter of hours they were head over heels for the dog too, this good boi was just so chill and nice they could not resist.
• He’d have fights with the dog sometimes cause it wanted to be so close to him all the time and Castiel got a little fed up with it, but when the dog went away scared as his reaction he’d run after it to say sorry lol.
•When he’s not home the dog would steal his dirty socks (stolen from the basket of course) and take them to his doggy bed and cuddle with them, Castiel hated having to pick them all up but couldn’t help but smile.
That’s all I have in mind for now, if you have any ideas for this I’d love to read them 💕 ~ oh I so want to draw this right now !!!
