in regards to the Nat's guilt vs Clint's, Nat was also brainwashed by the Red Room from a young age to be a killer while Clint became a killer bc he decided those people didn't deserve to survive the snap when his family died, idk about other people but to me that makes what he did worse. Nat was trained/brainwashed into being a killer, Clint became a killer bc he was mad
I definitely agree. And I'm gonna be honest, I dont mind killer characters for the most part. I even like killer characters alot. For example: Tomura from BNHA. Recently in the manga they showed his first kill through flashback and i was like "Thats my baby and I'm proud".
If someone is trained/raised as a killer or just happens to be a killer in the show/movie, I really dont mind. But when a killer is
1. Supposed to be a good guy
2. Shown in a sympathetic light
Or 3. Targeting marginalized communities,
They aren't the kind of character i can be indifferent to or feel good about.
Clint was shown to be a family man in the MCU. He was a good guy, then his family died and his man pain drove him to kill š.
This is made worse because the world was thrown into chaos and his team, "Earth's Mightiest Heroes", were working hard to keep things afloat. He abandoned his team to go around KILLING MORE PEOPLE instead of working with them to find a way to bring his family back. - Mod C
