#SOLARPANEL: NEIL BELOUFA
For those that are just tuning in, this interview is part of our #SolarPanel series to accompany the selection of video works, Solar, currently on view on High Line Channel 14. To present this curated series, we have teamed up with Marfa Dialogues/NY, a program on climate change science, environmental activism, and artistic practice and the Rauschenberg Foundation. In order to give you the opportunity to learn more about these videos, for the past four weeks we facilitated a Q&A session between our curator, Cecilia Alemani, and each of the artists in Solar over Twitter as a teaser for the full interview below! This week, we are focusing on artist Neïl Beloufa.

Hang with models in New York City on November 12th!
Looking for something to do in New York City tomorrow night? Make your way down to the Rauschenberg Project Space on West 19th at 7:00 p.m. and mingle with our climate models/scientists, journalist Flora Lichtman, photographer Jordan Matter and many more.
Flora will moderate a panel discussion with five of our climate models, then we'll break for informal chatting and wine. The conversation will focus on creative ways to make the study of our climate and adaptation to it more accessible and understandable.
The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP required. Visit Marfa Dialogues/NY for more information.
P.S. Check out ArtLab's super cool post on the calendar and our event.

Save the date! Okay, we know that might be easier if you had already had a Climate Models calendar in your possession. Bear with us.
Our first Climate Models event is in New York City on Tuesday, November 12th from 7-8 PM at the Rauschenberg Project Space in Chelsea.
Flora Lichtman, a video journalist whose work has appeared on NPR’s Science Friday and in The New York Times and Popular Science, will host a discussion with scientists Michela Biasutti, Katia Fernandes, Dorothy Peteet, Richard Seager and Jason Smerdon. They'll talk about climate research, ways to make the study of our climate and adaptation to it more accessible and understandable, and creative methods that can be used to better communicate climate science to the public.
Please join us. No RSVP necessary.
Marfa Dialogues is a series of events merging climate change science, environmental activism and artistic practice taking place across New York this fall, sponsored by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, Ballroom Marfa and the Public Concern Foundation.
