I've never really drawn comics before, but I've been having a lot of fun with it! I'm glad the flat shading style works with my non-chibi style as well.

I've never really drawn comics before, but I've been having a lot of fun with it! I'm glad the flat shading style works with my non-chibi style as well.
Revisiting some old sketches since I want to draw something cute with the whole family and took the chance to figure out another formalwear for March + design a new outfit for Chihiro! The dress pattern that I found, with the suspenders and ribbon accents, fit perfectly into Chihiro's general fashion sense; I also found the perfect reference for her shoes. And now that I've seen March's wedding suit, I wanted a different style of hanbok suit for him to wear.
The idea was for the grown-ups to wear mostly black and red while Chihiro wears a monochromatic pastel blue ensemble to be accurate to Edwardian children's evening wear. I'll eventually get to drawing a proper illustration with these outfits...
