Maybe the reason why vegans have never really made sense to me is because I was taught my entire life and still wholeheartedly believe that plants are just as sentient as anything else. I do believe that they can feel pain and fear same as anything else. They still give parts of themselves so that we can be fed and as such deserve unbelievable amounts of respect and gratitude.
