Personally I love interacting with media like this;
1. Understanding the primary reading and what the canonical message of the narrative is supposed to be
2. Having my opinions and personal experience with that, and then forming a secondary reading of it
3. Going into that media’s fandom spaces and exploring OTHER peoples readings of the media, and their opinions on the primary reading/source material/cannon content
I feel like it really does justice to every aspect of a creation and it makes it easier to interact with others online!!
