so im watching mash again, and ive got the laugh track off, and im starting to notice how hawk makes a lot of cracks that nobody laughs at. kinda makes it more obvious how he jokes to release tension, no wonder hes falling apart at the seams as he experiences more and more personal trauma (tommy gillis, henry, trapper, and so on)

experiment: bake two cakes from box mix, so they are identical in receipt. make one a sheet and the other layered. have someone cut a slice out of each, measure each slice's cube area. are they the same? similar? are they the same in top size? examine. determine reasoning in cutters sizing. important: dont tell them exactly what its about or they will get self aware of how theyre cutting it
