Whilst the film was released to mixed reviews, the City Cab based on a Series III Forward Control Land Rover has become quite an iconic head-turner. On a personal note; at the time the film was in post production my father was a journalist. I remember Dad penning a piece on the vehicle due to my fathers extensive background with vehicles - effectively the North Wales branch of the Trinity group had no problem allocating him as automotive correspondent, among many other areas of journalistic interest.
