"i thought i was clear when i said we were done." megara said with her classic tone of irony, clearly teasing them: it was pretty clear that it didn't matter "that being said, you've got no right to act like an asshole the whole party just 'cause i brought someone else." even though she said all that, the amusement her expression held was pretty much saying the opposite.

megara plays with the cigarette over her mouth, tasting it almost as if she could imagine it being anya. of course it wasn't. and it would never be. after all, the brunette's pride spoke over everything else she had in mind: once her trust was betrayed, she would never trust again. and yet, there she was, giving a moment to one who hurt her. " all of a sudden, you started to care? " she fired back, rolling her eyes and lighted up the cigarette: the same desire to taste anya, was the same desire who wanted her to burn.
