Gary's necklace! Changed it from his og one and his redesign one. Made it have two stones where one is the keystone while the other is a reflection stone.
Basically it's like the necklace Green wore in Pokemon Adventures/Special where it can reflect attacks. It breaks at least once a week because of the bullshit Gary gets himself into. It saves Gary more than it should.
Professor Oak gave Gary the keystone after he decided to become a researcher. No, Gary did not in fact know it was a keystone at the time.
Professor Oak did not explain that it was in fact a Keystone.
