megaman zero came out the year before x7 so obviously axl was NEVER going to be included in that series but you know what would be fun? if he just showed up sometimes like blues in the OG series. but instead of whistle concert playing axl is blasting crank that souja boy on the speaker. and when he leaves zero feels an unexplainable mix of fondness and annoyance

there isnt much lore for axl is the megaman series. as much as i wish for more canon for my favorite little 22nd century robot, its also a weird and fun blank slate. in what we do have axl has REALLY strong characterization. i dont enjoy the x7 writing much but axl’s introduction pretty quickly gives you an idea what he’s like.

but its also a limited amount of information, so theres a lot of room for interpretation. im willing to believe people have wildly different interpretations of axl’s character. what was his relationship with red alert? how does his relationship with x and zero develop after x7? whats sort of person is he like outside of a handful of cutscenes?

as sad as i get that there isnt more content for him, it can be so fun to play around with gis character for myself.

they shoyiuld make a game wher the game music can be split into a different audio channel so when you record and / or stream it you can play with the music but have aclean recording that you can edit and add music to later

ive got a dozen and one problems with x7’s writing (at least the english translation) but axl’s introduction is never one of them.

if it needs to be recapped, my boy shows up, gets HIGHWAY destroyed in a fight, calls zero stupid-to his FACE- and gets arrested. thats the greatest possible way capcom couldve brought him into the game. i couldnt ask for better.
