Clack, clack, clack. Each step resonated in this thin staircase that Dazai climbs without so much as a slight fatigue in his clockwork motions. “Uuugh, just how many more steps are there?” An unheard whine of a lazy man echos as the man endlessly trudges forward. Shortly after, a cool breeze brushes against him, earning a lift of the head. “?” There the door stood; half way open with mid-day sunlight shimmering through.
Dazai squints as he lifts up an arm to shield his eyes. Clack, clack, clack. Three steps is all it took to reach the door. Lightly pushing the door aside, Dazai pauses with mild surprise lacing his visage. There stood a beautiful woman who is far too close to the edge, almost dangerously so. If someone so much as lightly pushed her; she would most definitely fall like a broken dove.
Shoulders shrug dismissively, Dazai finds himself strolling up to the vaguely cold railing with a curious gaze and a smile. “Pardon me beautiful miss, are you up here for the same reason as I?” He leans on the railing, with an unabashed stare upon her.
