“There are No Monsters in the Water” is the name of the installation by Meilo Minotaur, which opened in mid-January at VOIR Gallery. Your avatar can immerse in the water, looking at the installation from different angles as objects and plant life appear and disappear, and go in and out of focus. The animesh figures shown in the second photo dance to the stream music, and are the most animated parts of the installation.

There are more static, vibrantly colored creatures in the water; it’s a safe and pleasant installation.

At Voir Gallery, with art by Meilo Minotaur, you can walk in the water with dancing figures and sea monsters. I had trouble finding my way to the right level. The Gallery has many lovely exhibits with several teleport boards. I think that this landmark will put you right in the water, but you should also climb out of the water to see Meilo’s photography.

I stopped in at Cafe D’Art for the first time in several days. “Where have you been?” asked Darlene as she poured me some coffee. “Well, I have fallen in love with a sim. It’s at Porto, by Meilo Minotaur. I have tried on every free avatar, and watched other people doing the same. You can see some wonderful snapshots in the flickr group. I tried writing a story to film, but my story seemed to need a cast of thousands and props to match. But I couldn’t stop filming and I ended up trying to catch a bird for about 3 hours. I never did catch one. Now, a film critic might say that this film has only enough action for one minute, but the song is so nice that I wanted it to go on for the whole three minutes of the music.”

At Selen's Gallery, Meilo Minotaur has a beautiful dark watery place. I decided to put my Lady Protectoress avatar on to dance with three dancers. But, oops, I danced right into a hole behind me that dropped me underwater! And I found more statues and dancers down there.

I got enough snapshots at Porto to fill up an art gallery. It was a contrast to Halloween scenery. But I did find one Halloween face up in the sky. There is a nice gift, a beautiful avatar that could be worn as a Halloween costume.
