[Master steps back, snarling. He opens his mouth and jerks forward, meaning to let out the awful growl-hiss that Terrakens do, but instead makes a choking cough noise and stumbles back, clearly surprised. Okay, so he can’t exactly intimidate her with unsharp teeth.]

"Oh, isn't that just precious." Her grin widens, and within the second she's grabbed ahold of his collar, pulling him down to her height. He'll find himself incapable of movement, as she practically slams through his mental barriers to take control of him and his actions. She holds him there for a moment, breathing in the scent of his newly-transformed blood.

"Not so tough now, are we, Mallie?" She whispers in his ear, giving up just enough control for him to give a verbal response.

"I think Master is really sweet. He's just about one of the nicest guys I have ever met. And it really upsets me that he has such a terrible opinion of himself when I think he's so wonderful," She sighed, only to catch her breath before continuing.

"Master is probably the first guy to put me on a pedestal and indulge me with affection, and I really like it. I like it a lot, in fact. But... I feel bad. Like I'm leading him on, especially since I know that no matter much I like him, and I like him an awful lot, I'll never love him. Not like I do Sabriel. Which sucks because I think that maybe he might care for me..."

The girl hid her face behind her hands. All of this honesty was pouring out like water from a faucet. "I really don't want to hurt his feelings, and I could just be being a conceited little shit like usual, but I just- and he said- and the way he said it," She gave an exasperated cry. "I don't know," Defeated blue eyes peak from in-between pale, lean fingers.
