Grandpa Mellow is decorating the tree with the kids, it's a compromise trying to agree on the colour scheme but they get there in the end!

SCARLET: CRAP!!!

So Scarlet burned the grand meal, and the cooker. Luckily the alarm went off and the sprinklers kicked in just in time or the house could have been a goner!

MELLOW: So this is going to be expensive!

Your insurance will cover it Mells, nae bother!

And she did it again! I don't get how, she's level 10 cooking skill!

DIJON: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! FIRE!!!

MELLOW: Do you mind there big fella? I'm trying to save my family here!

FIREMAN: You peeps, this is the second time I've been here! *chuckle*

MELLOW: GET OUT OF THE WAY! AAAAAGGGHHHH!!!

Sterling is very pleased with himself after stacking all the rings in the right order for the first time!

STERLING: I is good boy!

But his mood soon changes when grandpa Mellow decides it's flash card time...

MELLOW: What's this Sterling?

STERLING: My lifes flashy before my eyes? *sigh*

Meanwhile Dijon is teaching Storm how to play chess.

STORM: More like how to suck at chess!

DIJON: You're doing fine son, I wasn't that great when I was your age but now I thrash grandpa Mellow with one hand tied behind my back!

STORM: This is boring!

I don't think he's a fan Deej!

Arian isn't having much luck with the twins either, Sterling has been subjected to the flash cards again while Cinder plays something to make anyone's ears bleed on the xylophone!

Yeah that's debatable, keep trying little one!

Dijon heads off on an adventure in his rocket!

DIJON: Farewell people of earth, I shall return with brand new knowledge of the cosmos, I am an explorer who will...

*yawn* Please stop!

Off he goes, did he tell Arian he was leaving? Did he tell anyone? 🤨

Eventually he returns, looking happy and rather smug. I wonder what pearls of wisdom he learned when he was up there...

OC Kiss Day Seven: Sloppy

Scarlet Rouge and Mellow Dior

Arian tames her cravings with some ice cream, morning sickness is gone and replaced by a very large appetite! I mean, eating for two? Am I right?

Dijon should be worried, he has competition in this here ice cream cone!

ARIAN: Mmmmm, come to mama!

Mellow is being haunted by Scarlet’s parents. They never did like him, and now that he’s living in the family home, they intend to make his life a misery! I mean, in-laws? Am I right?

We’re in our third trimester and still loving every moment!

The Not So Berry house is a clean house, and Arian appreciates how fresh it smells. Also it means she doesn’t have to do any housework, her belly is getting in the way of everything these days!

Mellow and Scarlet seem to be getting along nicely. Could this be true love? Was Scarlet just too young and carefree when they first fell in love? Well they did have Dijon when they were teenagers so probably. Scarlet sometimes wonders why she jilted Mellow in the first place, her career mattered more than marriage back then and now that she’s almost at the top, she’s re-thinking her position on being Mrs Mellow Dior!

Mellow is a happy chappy, he’s got everything he’s ever wanted. He would have liked another child with Scarlet, but she didn’t, so what Scarlet wants Mellow goes along with! He’s not losing her again!

Although something tells me that Scarlet may lose him if someone doesn’t put him out soon! He’s been unfortunate enough to fall victim to a toilet fire! I mean what the hell???

Arian is helping Storm with his homework, although it looks like she’s ordering him around, hmm!

Dijon spends some time with the twins who are curious about everything, he’s starting to get tired of their constant questions.

Sterling is particularly nosey about things, like why is daddy yellow and stuff like that. Dijon needs to teach him that it’s rude to ask questions like that!

Cinder likes to tell her big brother jokes and hear him laugh, Storm thinks his baby sis is adorable!

The twins are very like Storm in that they are into everything in that nursery, drawing and playing with the xylophone, to babbling away to each other.

Cinder is the most talkative, Sterling just listens, he knows better than to hush a lady when she has a lot on her mind! He’ll go far that one!

The best part about the twins is, much like Storm before them, they can entertain themselves and not get into too much trouble. All the kids so far have been well behaved. Have I just jinxed it? I have, haven’t I?

Storm works on his Social Butterfly aspiration and chats to some locals he’s never met before. Hopefully none of them have a van!

And Mellow gets promoted at work, yep he’s a mascot, but I’m sensing a career change is in order. You can’t be in a relationship with the National Leader when you’re a mascot, can you? Time will tell!

The twins also aged up, here’s Sterling! A wee Charmer!

And here is his sister Cinder! An Angelic little lass!

They’re the best of friends, here’s hoping it will last eh?

Mellow tells Dijon that he looks silly with that facial hair, not a very nice thing to say to your son, he’s just jealous because he hasn’t managed to grow any since the High School Years pack came out! He has beard envy!

Nevertheless, Dijon takes dad’s comments to heart and decides a shave is in order!

To be honest, it did look a bit weird...

...maybe deep down Dijon felt the same?

That little face, if he wants a beard he should have one, that’s my opinion, no matter how silly he looks...

...awwwwww wickle baby face! Don’t worry Deej, it’ll grow back...some time!

It’s almost Storm’s birthday, so grandpa Mellow is enjoying what little time he has with him before he starts school.

He loves to dance!

He loves to ask why!

But most of all, he’s just lovely!

Blow out those candles Storm! We’ll all miss your toddler days, but something tells me you’ll be a wonderful child too!

STORM: Shewwwwwwwwww!

Yeah Arian doesn’t look all that happy about her baby becoming a child! Many mothers do not!

But here he is, dimples! Still love him so much!

We have twins, a girl and a boy named Sterling and Cinder Ash!

Storm is over the moon to be a big brother! Having just met his siblings, he can’t wait until they are big enough to play with him!

Dijon is equally as happy to have another son and a daughter!

The entire household is thrilled! Mellow is especially happy and proud of his son and future daughter-in-law. Three grandchildren, this more than makes up for his decision to become infertile for Scarlet, at least he can hand the grandkids over when he gets bored. Every cloud!

Storm maxes every skill and is particularly pleased with himself!

STORM: YAYS!

Arian is proud of her big boy!

He decides to draw a picture for his siblings, he’s always on the go, playing with something or investigating objects in the house. Very inquisitive for a Silly toddler!

Dijon continues to work on the rocket, it’s almost completely upgraded! Soon he can travel and explore!

But not before thrashing daddio at chess, it’s got to be done!
