My Favorites of this Week
Hey you! Thank you for reading! I hope you had a good week. This past week has been pretty.... let's say... eye-opening to many things, in a good way. The truth is always better to be dealt with head on!
And what I'll say to you is, if you're feeling scared or fearful of something, talk to someone about it. I have to remind myself of this everyday. The people closest to you will be the best people to listen, and to help you overcome what ever it is you're going through! I talk more about this on my post here.
I didn't get much chance to read anything this past week but here are my favorites!
Africa by Maya Angelou
I read this in her book of poetry, The Complete Poetry. My favorite part in her poem named Africa has to be:
Now she is rising remember her pain remember the losses her screams loud and vain remember her riches her history slain now she is striding although she has lain
Wear Sunscreen
PM Down - Set Adrift on Memory Bliss
I could list poems and songs all day, but I'm going to stick to only these! I hope you enjoy them!
Have a great week everybody!
Memory Drift, Richard Baxter
