Orpheus’ music was lovely, I loved listening to him play and sing all the time, but it was less about what and more about why; I got to spend time with my nephew, and that’s why I enjoyed it so much. Wouldn’t have mattered what it was that we did, I would have enjoyed it because it was him. I just loved spending the time with my family.

When Orpheus first came to be under Hermes’ care, I took one look at him and just thought “I would die for this child”. He was so little then, and I was still recovering from miscarrying, so I latched onto him pretty quickly. I wanted nothing more than to protect him and give him a mother’s love.

Being an honorary aunt and getting off the train to see him beaming at me was the highlight of my year; he always grew so much in the time I was away, but no matter how long it had been or how much he’d grown, I always knew that was my nephew, and I would do anything for him.
