id love to see more moony and Rena fighting over Ena
Can Do!
ENA hated arguing; it was loud, aggressive, and always left her with a nasty feeling in her nonexistent stomach and a bad taste in her mouth. Most times she would try and walk away from conversations or interactions if the threat of an argument was apparent, and if things escalated before she could walk off, ENA did her best to wait out the yelling or rough treatment before slinking away to cry.
Right now, however? The arguing seemed less scary and more... Silly.
It didn't take long for ENA to realize what was going on between Moony and RENA, and while it should have concerned her, the way their usual arguments played out often made her feeling more amused than anything. Things between them rarely escalated beyond glaring matches or blatant grumbling, and if it did, one plea from ENA would calm things down near instantly.
It was nice to know ENA was wanted by not one, but two important people in her life.
Even still, she should probably find some way to stop the fighting. At some point, at least.
For now, she was content to just sit back and enjoy the show when she could.
"For you, my dear." RENA lovingly chimed as she handed a rose to ENA. "Bright and beautiful, just like you."
"Oh!" ENA gasped, blushing and taking the gift with as much care as she could muster. "It's absolutely gorgeous!"
"What about my gift?" Moony loudly asked, swooping into the scene and holding a bouquet of blue and yellow roses out in front of ENA. "I had them specially made for you."
"Meaning they're likely of poor husbandry and will die faster than natural roses." RENA scoffed, waving the bouquet away carelessly. She pulled ENA close, pressing their noses together in a rare display of PDA.
Which she was clearly only doing to spite Moony.
"Oh, like you know so much about flowers." Moony muttered, keeping her grip on the flowers and quickly moving to squeeze between the ENAs. "Group hug!"
RENA let out a loud snarl, stopping only when ENA sent her a look that begged for her to stop. "Ugh, I'm going to work."
"Have fun!" Moony sarcastically shouted, wrapping her arm around ENA with a smirk. "Now, why don’t the two of us get into some trouble? Like the old times!"
"I don't think we'll be able to experience the 'old times' at all anymore." ENA hummed, squeaking as she was lifted up and hoisted over Moony's nonexistent shoulder. Loud giggles followed the action, and ENA squirmed about like a worm. "Moony! Let me down! I can walk, silly!"
"Oh, c'mon! Let me spoil you a bit!" Moony adjusted their position so that she was practically cradling ENA and locking eyes with the girl. "What kind of best friend would I be if I didn't make you happy whenever I could?"
"The non-obsessive kind!" RENA shouted, carefully grabbing ENA's body and tearing her from Moony's grip. "Are you alright, darling?"
"Yes, love. I'm okay." ENA assured, thinking nothing of what she’d said.
"HAHA!" RENA shouted, her Meanie Face smiling sharply. "She loves ME!"
"Oh, please! Aren't you supposed to be at work?" Moony huffed, narrowing her eyes at the gruff version of her friend.
"I can skip a day." RENA easily replied, moving a bit of hair from ENA's face and humming softly. "I have my sweet ENA to keep myself happy."
"Ah, so she's nothing but a job for you?"
"What the- I DIDN'T SAY THAT!"
"YOU IMPLIED IT!"
"WHEN?!
"JUST NOW!"
ENA sighed and leaned into RENA's strong and sure grip, ready and willing to wait for RENA and Moony to get the argument out of their systems. She’d stop them if things got too out of hand, but something told her they'd avoid that as long as she was present.
It was their way of showing their individual love, and ENA was more than willing to accept it.
No matter how silly.
